Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the course is relavent when it comes to coding but where as there is human values and ethics subjects are just useless and waste of time I feel those are need to be changed. Yes the exams are of good standard.

Internships Opportunities

Oracle offers job to java developer especially in our college,they recruit then as software developer in their company and assign roles based on our skills Same goes for TCS, cognizant, infosys etc but in python

Placement Experience

In our college from 6th semester itself the students are eligible for campus placements. Cognizant,oracle, snapdragon,infosys,TCS,etc ... In our college for my branch the students placements percentage is 85 As per the official website

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year my fees for 2 semesters combined is 140000 In our college sc and st caste have this fees reimbursed full fee All my batchmates have fee reimbursement and those pay fee they pay same as me. They get scholarship from telangana government.

Campus Life

We only have college fest in the second semester of the year as our college is very academic centric. Each class have projectors and black board in the class. Yes there are hackathons in our college Yes there are clubs for the students to join in.

Admission

The specific reason I chose this college because of the placements they offer to student that is because high placement percentage.yes I also applied for even better college but I got rejected since my rank is just below

Faculty

Yes the faculties here are friendly and strict at times that is in terms of study ofcourse. The faculty are really good at what they teach. Sudhakar sir our maths hod is really friendly and allows us explore the subject

Night Life

First of all our college operates in daytime only,the college timings are 9am to 4:20pm I personally like to go to college canteen as it provides really good food at reasonable prices. Every thing in the college closed by 6pm

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

From the 5th semester itself students are eligible for placement drives if they pay for the placement training classes , internship drives start from 5th semester and training classes go on for students every week , from 7th semester drives on different job roles start and the placed percentage of students right now is about 30 to 40 percent and drives are still going on but correct training and correct opportunities more needs to be provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
