The environment of our college is so peaceful and we have a big library to study.
We have a lab for each subject and good faculty for each subject.
Our college has maximum percentage of placements compared to other colleges

Dislikes

The ground is also too small in our college .

Course Curriculum Overview

Our College curriculum was very planned and executed very well. This curriculum makes us to how to plan the revision and learning subject daily. For our internal exams we have 1 and half hour for writing exam and for Sem exams we have 3 hours and the papers are moderate level.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college has good placement percentage compared to other colleges. Many of the companies like Google,TCs, Qualcom, IBM, Visa etc. will come to our college. 80-85 percentage of people will get placements every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For below 10,000 rank there s no tution fees. The students whose rank is above 10,000 they should have to pay 1,40,000 Rs as tution fees.There is separate library fees for buying textbooks for each sem. Students should pay 5,000Rs for book lending scheme for four years.

Campus Life

Our college doesn't celebrate maximum festivals. Only few of the festivals are celebrated in our college. There are some many clubs to participate. This college don't prefer sports more. This college don't have wifi in the classes.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility was good and we have a balcony with good view. The rooms are three sharing rooms and we have 24/7 hot water facility. The meals were good at the beginning but nowadays it was not good.The PG hostel is located in Narsingi.

Hostel Fee: INR 7500 per year

Admission

I applied for Chaitanya Bharathi college of Hyderabad but I didn't get the cutoff rank according to the college. I choose this college over other colleges because this college has good placement percentage compared to other colleges.

Faculty

Our college has plenty of lecturers for our classes.Our Basic Electrical engineering teacher is very good at explaining subject and act good with each student.Our Physics teacher act very tough in the class and Lab.

Night Life

This college don't have any gym facility. We have small cafeteria and big library. There is no hangout places in this college. College starts at 9:40 Am and closes at 4:20 Pm. There is no college hostel.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
