Remarks

Negative think is that here any playground is not available. And the area of campus is also very small. And positive thing is that there is no issues of attendance here and students gets lot of time to improve there personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course followed by college is good. And all the things which are required for building basics in engineering is included in the curriculum. Exams are conducted twice in every semester both practical and theory.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is not much high. For CSE and IT the average is 4 L but for other courses it's not good. Many students gets good placement in outcampus interviews. College provides one internship and stipend is based on the performance of student

College Events

A lots of events are celebrated every year like tech fest , every society have there events and cultural fest , CSE day, IEEE day and many more. In these celebration students gets chances to show there talent and prove themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is average. It's around 1.2L for first year and 1L for next 3 years. It include book bank fee also and the college provides you books for using and you have to submit it back after the end of semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Till now no scholarship is available now. But if you are financially very weak then you can ask for scholarship from college and they will help. Education loan facility is available and can be availed easily without much documentation.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good but ground are not available inside the campus as the campus is small. But a sports complex is there near college where all facility are available. All the labs are fully equipped and good.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility available inside the college. But lots of PG is available and most of them are located near the college. They provide you all facility in around 6k per month. Most of the outside students stay in PG only

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not as expected. But the senior are really helpful and you can approach them any time. Many startups are in progress here and college is supporting then in every possible manner. College is providing them fund and place also.

Admission

There is an entrance exam called IPUCET is conducted by GGSIPU every year and college is allotted based on marks scored. GTBIT comes under GGSIPU Delhi which is a state government University. GTBIT is a Sikh minority college and there is around 80% reservation for Sikh candidate.

Most of the teachers are Punjabi here as this is Sikh minority college and all the teachers are well qualified in there respective fields. HODs are helpful and all other teachers are very kind to the students

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there.
