My Honest GHRCE Experience

I would rate the curriculum moderate good not perfectly but overall is good. I chose the cource because it has high chances of placement and covers all the core subjects of my interests. It prepares you ok for real-world works but not fully. You should learn extra tools and technologoes and increase skills at your own. Improvements needs in adding more practical topics and update programming tools and more project based teaching. The Exams happens twice evry semester includes internal and end exam, internal exams are easier than semester exam.

Interships chances in GHRCE are okay, specially for CS/IT students. College ties up with few companies and also pushes student to do internships through online portals. Some companies that offers internships are TCS ion, Infosys Springboard, Capgemini, Persistent and other few local startups. roles are mostly web developer, data analyst trainee , testing intern etc. projects are simple like making small web apps, doing data cleaning tasks, automation scripts etc

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

I paid around 87,000 per year for my course. This includes tutuion fees, development fees, exam fees and some other charges like registration and lab fees. For general Category : The Overall fees is around 1.38 lakhs per year For OBC category : The overall fees is around 87000 per year For VJNT category : The overall fees is around 32000 per year For SC/ST category : The overall fees is around 16000 per year The Government provides Scholarships like MahaDBT(Post matric to OBC, VJNT and SC/ST students) This schemes reduces the fees and the tutuion fee waiver schemes saves the tuition fees of the students and other financial aids are provided by the private agencies.

Campus life in GHRCE is overall decent, not too good but still enjoyable.The college has its anual fests called Reva and technical fests like Techno-spark. These events are the main time when the campus feels alive.usually they held in February-March every year. Library is pretty good you get a wide range of varieties of books in the library. Most students sit there in free time. classrooms have smartboards and projectors which helps for advanced teaching. there are various sports activities like cricket, football, badminton and other indoor games there is a sport weak every year. extracurricular includes coding clubs, cultural clubs and other groups formed by the students.

i choose GHRCE because i got a confirmed admission there and the campus and placements looked better than other colleges that i applied, i also applied to couples of other colleges in Nagpur and Pune. Admision process was simple. it happen through MHT-CET councellings you fill the Cap form, add list of colleges and select college that you alloted as per your rank. eligibility was just 12th pass with PCM or Polytechnic in any fields. Overall was an easy process so it chose this college rather than wasting time in other colleges and rounds.

Faculties of GHRCE are overall good , the faculty student ration is also good and the teachers are mostly reachable. If you ask any doubt they often answer it. faculties are not very strict. Some teachers are very friendly. I like few faculties because they teach very well and explain the topics and solve our doubts.But there are some teachers who teaches very fast and understanding is difficult in such lectures. There are mainly two exams in one Semester (Internal and End-exam) Internal exams are usually easier in end exam there is therory + practical pattern and end semester exam is bit harder than internal Every year around 5%-10% students failed in the semester examination they got a chance to reapperar in back exam before getting detained.

Nightlife around GHRCE is very quite, since the college is far outside and away from main road many things nearest to campus closes early. The GYM, cafes and library usually closes at evening. Hostels also have fixed time around 9-9:30 PM so you cant go outside in the late night. Still the students hangout to the nearest places inside campus students chill near the garden area or canteen till it closed. Outside campus common spots are poonam chambers, iternity and VR mall and few cafes near Hingana road.
