Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is well structured and covers both core fundamentals and emerging technologies.It provides a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through labs, projects and electives.
Internships Opportunities
As I am second year odd semester student i don't quite know about the internship opportunities but according to our seniors there are many companies offering internships.There are companies like wipro and RIL.
Placement Experience
The placements of the MECHANICAL ENGINEERING in our college are better than many colleges who are better in NIRF ranking.The average packages if 9 lakhs which is better for a core Mechanical engineer.85 percent of mechanical engineering are placed.

Campus Life
There are annual cultural and tech fest like RECSTACY and AAROHAN.AAROHAN is held in the odd semester of the year during October and RECSTACY is held in the even semester in January or February.Library almost contains every book that is needed by the students almost 30-35 copies which are more than enough.
Hostel Facilities
Inside the hostel room we are provided with individual lockers and tables along with chairs.As I am not from this state,I am not quite satisfied with the menu of our mess but the same state people do enjoy it.Every registration process for hostel is online.it is affordable.
Admission
I applied to many colleges to be honest but my percentile in JEE MAINS helped me to get over here.But also I can get a better branch in NIT RAIPUR but due to the well known facilities of core branches I got into MECHANICAL ENGINEERING of my college.
Faculty
The faculty members at NIT DURGAPUR are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields.Most teachers are approachable and willing to clarify doubts.There are lab sessions minor or major projects and seminars to enhance practical knowledge.There is no relative grading
Night Life
There are more than enough cafeterias inside the campus where we can hangout with our friends.Gym and library are available from morning 7 to evening 9.Outside the college there are many places like Khana khazana and Jhoops exactly infront of the campus
