Course Curriculum Overview

It is relevant. Right now mostly a repeat of 11-12 th standard. Teaching methods can be improved i feel they have not updated the curriculum as per real life they can use excel and more advanced softwares

Internships Opportunities

Through the placement cell Pinnacle a lot of opportunities are available especially in companies like Deloitte, EY, WIPRO, KPMG. there is a lot of sectoral exposure in terms of consulting, finance , marketing. A lot of opportunities are made available through seminars and workshops.

Placement Experience

placement is on avg 6-8 lpa. 3rd year onwards you become eligible for campus placements. Mainly for bcom there are companies like big 4, fintech engaged and banks. around 70% students get placed. i want to pursue CFA and further MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

17000 rupees is the fees i am paying a year. registeration fees was 2000. my batchmates from other colleges are paying as much as 30000 to 45000 while studying in delhi university as well. Fees for 3 years in ramjas college will be around 51000

Campus Life

Life at Ramjas is vibrant, fests like Mosaic are very popular held in april. The library is also very spacious and helpful with numerous course related books easily available. The classrooms can be better with more advanced techology. The extra curriculars offered are many and they are active aswell. The student portal and various clubs and socities make the experience better

Admission

I applied to IP,DU,NMIMS,CHRIST. got accepted in all. I chose du because more exposure and a better relevance for jobs annd placements. Admission process was a little hard required giving CUET it is pretty competitive for my course

Faculty

in most classes the faculty ratio is 1:40 but in the digital marketing , sec , vac it can range to 1:100. The exams are conducted during december i.e end of semester. I like Harsh Sir he teaches Financial Accounting and Himanshu Sir for Management Principles. Chander Sir is also great he takes business law. The course curriculum is easy as of right now. First semester is a mix of 11th and 12th

Night Life

North Campus is completely a student oriented area. There are many cafes and gyms around. Best places would be kamla nagar,hudson lane,vijay nagar. I personally live in a PG so it closes at 10:30. Delhi in general is a great place to hangout with friends. One should defiantly explore Connought Place, MKT, hauz kkhas, saket.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
