Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is generally relevant but nowadays due to the advent of ai the courses are losing there relevance in recent times and also due to tough competition existing in today society having just a degree is no longer enough especially in corporate areas rest the semester timing of 6 months is good enough for me

Internships Opportunities

3

The corizo company have given internships opportunities to students with 1000 rupees per week for 2.5 hours and Prafull Garg have also given similar opportunities to the students to hone their skills during college

Placement Experience

3

The most prominent way to get placement is through joining societies that update your skills and knowledge and make contacts through their alumni network and inviting different companies to the campus like Deloitte McDonald etc the average placement given to the students are 6 lakhs per Annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of Ramjas College is 17000 and there is No compulsory charges like lab fees etc and the fees of batchmates is also around 17000 yearly and scholarship are reliance provide in merit list

Campus Life

3

The campus provides various social drives to uplift the poor masses of the societies and regular booth camps to update the students and various fest of different departments and fresher parties are also organised to make students feel welcomed in the college

Admission

I applied for all the Delhi university colleges that provided b com h and applied for it due to the fact that they have rich and varied heritage and the exposure they give to me the college I got is one of the topmost college of du and the application process was by applying for it through the du Csas portal and getting allocation through cuet marks I couldn't go to more famous Colleges due to scoring below the cuttoff marks but the college I got is far more better than the college of my hometown

Faculty

3

The faculty members are nice as well and are experienced in their fields the marking system is based on the internal assessment and regular tests and the final semester exam the good facilities are commerce and the political department as they are very politically active

Night Life

4

I have not experienced the night life in college Campus but at what I have heard they are pretty nice and the whole campus area is free to roam at night as police regularly patrol the areas to make the area safe for students

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college
