Course Curriculum Overview

4

I didn't know much about my course when i took admission because all knowledge i had was from different websites and youtube channels , when i had my hand on first hand knowledge i realised that the course itself doesn't provide you practical knowledge which would help you in real world because its just a degree, for real world you need to have some skills so i joined societies and hoping to develop some side skills like public speaking, communication skills, consultation skills and some technical skills like video editing, photoshop etc Also our professor suggested us to do courses side by side so I'm thinkin of pursuing CA But bcom hons as a degree is good because it provides you knowledge of commerce and accounting whatever you'd expect from a degree from DU

Internships Opportunities

3

the college provide some internship opportunities in departments , there are also some whatsapp groups in touch which provide internship opportunities that are available on linkedin and other platforms

Placement Experience

4

I think from 6th semester placement starts to happen , there's this placement cell called pinnacle , but i heard placements aren't that good because its just undergraduate degree , most of the placements are around 4-5lpa also the teachers said we won't be able to handle corporate work culture , my plans after getting this degree is to complete CA course and get into a good college for postgraduate

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 17100 at the time of admission as college fees of 1st year, fees for consequent years would also be almost same or even less (200-500rs) , i think my batchmates from sc/st/ews category have some fee concession, moreover we have to pay examination fees separately every semester whose amount im not aware of yet , as to pay that fees we need university enrollment number which DU haven't provided yet

Campus Life

4

There's this annual fest called mosaic although i heard its not upto par with fests like crossroads but its average , the library is good its chilled with ac and peaceful environment i like to go there and relax , sports complex is good there's a gymnasium and table tennis table , basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court , the societies are active, RDS is quite good society

Admission

My preference list was like this 1. SRCC 2. Hindu College 3. Hansraj College 4. Kirorimal college 5. Ramjas college when i was alloted this college i was satisfied, i heard that kmc 's infrastructure was real bad so i decided to freeze ramjas because only chance of upgrade was in KMC , so yeah that's how I got ramjas Admission in our college is given on bases of CUET scores which is to be filled on DU seat allocation site I also applied to some local colleges like HEC , COER , SMJN in case i dont get admission in DU

Faculty

4

Kamlesh sir teaches us Financial accounting he's good , Prashant sir teaches us vac gandhi and education he seems like a guy who knows almost everything about history, always a delight to listen to him , economics ge mam is also chill , faculty to student ratio is like 1-60 for core, ge , 1-100 for aec sac vac (which will reduce after sections are made) Fortunately i haven't pissed off any teacher yet so i find every faculty member good There are certain test which are part of internal continuous assessment of 15-20 marks , they are quite easy so no need to worry

Night Life

4

I like to go around hudson lane , hangout spots are sudama tea stall , dse canteen, kamla nagar restaurents , and sarojini Chandni chowk market , although i heard that thieves are prevalent in north campus so im careful and also there's a lot of smoking and alcohol consumption around kamla nagar and north campus

Other Applied Colleges

COER University | Bcom

It was backup in case i dont get admission in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
