Likes

Faculty is highly experienced and polite
Sports complex is has a lot of different games
library is big and has a diverse range of books

Dislikes

Canteen is small and items offered are very less
Air conditioners are not present in classrooms
Wifi is not available in the campus except library

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is very diverse and not so difficult to understand. It is mostly bookish and hence shall be made more practical and engaging. Exams are not very difficult and manageable even with a month of study.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered depending on course and skills. Startups to big4 all come to college for offering internships. Usually second year end internships are considered the most influential and biggest season

Placement Experience

Students stepping into third year are eligible for placements. Average package ranges around 7lpa and highest package can even go till 21 lpa. My plans are to pursue mba form a tier-1 business school after college

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is quite affordable. It comes to around 16500 per semester and for sc/st students, it is way less and they can also avail additional concessions and scholarships. INSPIRE program is available for science students

Campus Life

Ramjas has an annual fest called mosaic and attracts a large audience. Sports facilities are above average and one would find a good number of societies like rcs enactus and pinnacle. Book collection is also huge

Admission

I applied to srcc, hindu Hansraj and kmc over Ramjas but didn't made it due to low cuet score. My score was 758/800 and this is usually the cut off for bcom courses in Ramjas. Admission process is simple

Faculty

On average one professor can handle 40-60 students. The faculty is very polite and approachable. Commerce faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Usually 3 core exams are there and rest are electives

Night Life

Gym facility is available and a canteen is also present. There is not other eating out place except the canteen inside the college, however outside the main gate there are couple of such shops. Campus stays open till 5

My opinion

Placement Experience:

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.
