MBBS COURSE is nice for those who are really interested in the field and who are dedicated to studies it's fun too while treating the patient who are really in need of you.the course is long its minimum of 5.5 years

Placement Experience

The government of India and Karnataka are giving permeant job after the course. government also provide the internship with stipend of 20000per month ,as I am studying in 3rd year I don't have experience of internship

Our college along with curriculum has exceedingly well in extra curriculum.we have cultural event called. Kalaspandan ,sports days , academic fest called synergia and Kannada Habba.we also celebrate all National festivals

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible for 1st year it is around 20000,for next years it's around 25000 which we paid but according to new rules fee hiked for 50000 for first year and rest of the years.and we require some 20000for other expenses

Fees and Financial Aid

Many government and non government scholarship will be provided. Government scholarship like vidyasiri by state government ,MHRD by central government will be awarded for poor and backward CLS people

Hostel it's quite descent big room which is sufficient for 3 people with neat and clean washroom and toilets mess also provide decent food for vegetarians and egg will be provided daily for who eat the egg

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah there are some alumni association and senior students who are willing to do something for our college but as it's government college they can't do anything that they want to. senior students are very helpful they advise us on each occasion

Admission

Cet karnataka ,you need to get within 400 state rank to be in this college among 1lakh students ,but now it is neet exam that is considered afterwards state ranks will be given and with that you can join the college

Faculty

Faculty in KIMS are good around 15 faculty are there in each department who will take regular classes but sometimes due to busy patient intake they won't be able to teach us but except that they are excellent

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
