Course Curriculum Overview

5

Being in medical field relevance is not something to be questioned about , everything and anything which is thought here will be relevant all throughout your life for your practice. This college has a huge patient load which gives you an in hand experience about everything which is expected out of an undergraduate.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship is not option but compulsory in a medical college You have no choice but is part of the curriculum One year of internship where you are posted in all the departments of the college You are given a fixed stipend from government of Karnataka which is now 30k per month Here at KMCRI internship is quite hectic due to huge patient load

Fees and Financial Aid

KIMS which is now renamed as KMCRI and earlier called as KMC locally is a government medical college located in Hubli. Its course fee is 52000 which is the government set fees for all government medical colleges in Karnataka It is one of the top medical college after BMCRI and MMC in Karnataka with very experienced teachers

Campus Life

4

Taking about infrastructure it's state of the art infrastructure here with a huge campus of 100 acers with ton a lot of new buildings , hostels and newly renovated auditorium. For a medical student life it has everything which he needs you name it ,it has. Clubs are something new which is happening recently but this college has student association since it was formed who organise all the culture events which is headed by 3rd year students.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel facilities are really good it as around 5 boys hostel so is girls hostel in number. Each hostel has its own mess with students being the mess incharge as secretary and so on Ya hostel food and everything is descent i would tell not too good ok

Admission

For admission in this college you first need to clear NEET UG exam with good score and rank This college at the time of my admission was 3rd best college in Karnataka after BMCRI and MMC But now many students are choosing ABVMC Bangalore over KMCRI thats just because of Bangalore factor there , but still KMCRI is bettter With good staff and seniors.

Faculty

5

Here as i said before faculty is one thing you can bet on to come here . Well experienced with in depth knowledge in shills and practice. This is affiliated to RGUHS so you will be having university exams every year as final exam This will be for 4 years with a duration of 4.5 years and one year compulsory internship as a house surgeon in this institute for one year

Night Life

1

Ya night life is something which is still on a duller side in this city, is not that modernised. But nevertheless it can offer you with some good time here good hotels and restaurants There and now some upcoming good pubs, if you are watching out for that then .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

There is no such special curriculum just i want to be a doctor so i chosed mbbs. It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
