Remarks

Overall I would say M.S. Ramaiah Institute of technology is a good mix of cultural, academic and social gathering study environment is up to the mark with international standards students who had passed out from here are in a good position in their carree

I appeared in CET entrance exam for bangalore university I scored 93% ramaiah is on of the top colleges of bangalore university.

Internships Opportunities

College offers help to fix up students with internships with good companies stipend offered may not be much but overall practical experience is phenomenal.

Placement Experience

Ramaiah has tieups with some very renounced companies of India so opportunities are good once a student passes out companies like TATA, Reliance, Akzo Noble etc visit the campus every year to offer students jobs with handsome salaries.

Project presentation of final year student every year inter college consert competition Inter college cricket tournament the events held here are big as most of the Bangalore visit here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for Karnataka residents is very low and reasonable for every student to afford. For students out of Karnataka the fee structure is a bit more but still up to the mark with Indian standards.

Ramaiah is a mix of students from all over India it has almost equal number of boys and girls the facilities like labs, sports etc are up to the standards.

In 2011 mess was fine but hostel facilities were not so good so I would recommend living outside in a PG or rented apartment.

We have alumni association on facebook which keeps us updated of the activities and events of the college there is alumni meet every year and ex-students from all over India and from across the globe visit and participate in this meet.

students are eligible for placements in their last year and if any students secures a good internship they could continue with that as well.A lot of companies visited our college and tcs, cisco and corizzo. the highest placement was 32lpa and the lowest is 40k per month. and the placement percentage was more than 90% for the placement batch.

Placements are decent when taking into account that recession is going on, placement percentage is arond 65 percentage across all branches. For Computer raelated branches its more this year (2025), and median for cs branches is around 12LPA. Students are eligible for placements from 7th sem onwards.
