Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is updated and latest. I am from CSE(AI ML) department, It's a new branch so it's curriculum is considered the best in this colleges. Separate faculties are there for each subject. There are multiple labs and lab exams every week to ensure real world application. There is a sem end exam for 100 marks(scaled to 50) Two CIEs of 30 marks each (scaled to 30 in total) 10 marks for Quiz and Lab exam 10 marks for Tutorial and assignment The difficulty level is not that high. One can easily pass and score good marks with one night of study

Internships Opportunities

4

Placement opportunities are good but internship opportunities are not that great. You have to apply for off campus internships. Some of the coding clubs provide and refer to internships in many companies but overall the internship culture is average.

Placement Experience

4

6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A CGPA of 7.5 and above makes you eligible for most of the companies. The placement record of my college has been great this year. 1200+ offers were made with an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students who applied for placements are placed now. The average placement of my branch (CSE AI ML) was 15 lakhs. The highest placement was 55 lakhs by Microsoft but it was off campus. My plans after getting a degree is to pursure MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for students throught COMEDK/KCET The annual Tution fees is same for COMEDK and Management Quota Students For BE Courses, COMEDK-273000 INR per annum KCET-83000 INR per annum In first year, 32000 is taken as skill lab fees 1650 are taken as examination fees before each semester end exam There are scholarships available for SC/ST and BPL students

Campus Life

3

The overall campus life is average as the campus is very small as it is only 16 acres. The medical side is great with 25 acres of campus and beautiful infrastructure. There is a basketball court, bandminton court, Tennis court and a ground for all other sports. The college is not that great when it comes to sports facilities. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and smart boards. The libraries are also great with good ambience and a lot of books. Talking about the social aspects There are a lot of clubs and activities in the college and most of the clubs are active. There are three major fests- Techfest, Udbhav and KR Fest. They are also pretty average

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is excellent. The rooms are well designed and spacious. I live in Ratan Tata block which has an annual fees of 120000 for double sharing room. The room is very beautiful and it also has attached washroom. The hostel has all the facilities like night canteen, laundary, common room, etc. The mess is above average. It has both North Indian and South Indian food. Hygiene is also maintained. My hostel is at MSRIT Gate 10

Admission

I gave many exams like JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, etc. I scored decent marks in all of them but none of them could get me CSE in a tier-1 college. My rank of 1641 in COMEDK got me CSE (AI ML) in this college. I found it better than other colleges because my priority was CSE only. I also applied in Bennett university, Noida as a backup option. But I got a seat in this college so I cancelled that. I found RIT better than Bennett in many aspects such as placements, crowd, Bangalore city, etc. I couldn't make it to a Tier 1 government college becaus of lack of preparation during my 11th and 12th standard. There are three ways of admission in my college COMEDK/KCET/Managament Quota

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:12. The faculties and supportive and good in nature. The faculties are highly qualified as most of them are PHDs with 10+ years of experience I like almost all of the faculites I interacted with Exams are on easier side. One can easily score good marks with one night of study. The curriculum is up to the marks with Tier 1 colleges

Night Life

2

There is a free gym inside the college. It has all the equipments but it has a limit of 1 hour and the trainer doesn't allow entry of more that 35 students at a time. So overall the college gym is below average. The market near college is great as we have BEL Road just behind the medical campus which is considered to be one the best markets in Bangalore. There are a lot of gym, cafeterias and public places near the college and most of them are open till late night. Campus entry timing is 10:30pm and it is the same for hostels also. For hostel students, there is not night life as the entry timings are strict. There is Orion Mall, BEL Road, etc. near the college where you can enjoy and hangout.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
