Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate the course curriculum 7.5/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. While it covers a broad range of core computer science subjects, the pace of curriculum updates is somewhat slower than the rapidly evolving tech landscape. Practical exposure is present but needs to be scaled up to match real-world expectations.

Internships Opportunities

3

the placement cell provides good internship oppurtunitues but student want to get the and pass the interview sot shortlisting and selecting and get the offer some of the companies get the good internship oppurtunities like mearsk,lg soft india, etc

Placement Experience

2

from 7th semester students become elegible for campus placements razorpay, launchED,altisource, progress software,42 gears etc the highest package is about 7LPA and the average package is about 3LPA percentage of getting placement is 50% due to the recission

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2021 I have paid for 2.25lakh per year But in 2025 it has increased by 4.5lakh per year There is scholarship upto 25k-30k based on 10th and 12th marks They have early bird rebate of upto 30% of the college fee

Campus Life

3

My overall experience with campus life at Alliance University has been vibrant and fulfilling, especially in terms of social engagement, club activities, and the available infrastructure. The university hosts several annual events like ALF, with Verve being the main cultural fest usually held in March, showcasing music, dance, fashion, and art.

Admission

I chose Alliance University over other colleges due to its balanced approach to academics, industry exposure, and a smooth admission process. I had applied to several institutions, including SRM University, Jain University, Christ University, PES University, and VIT Vellore. I received confirmed admissions from SRM and Jain, but I missed the cutoff for Christ and PES and was waitlisted at VIT.

Faculty

3

Faculty-to-Student Ratio and Approachability:The faculty-to-student ratio in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Alliance University is approximately 1:25, which is fairly balanced. Most faculty members are approachable and encourage interaction during and after class hours. Some professors are especially open to mentoring students beyond academics, assisting with projects, internships, and research interests. However, a few faculties may appear rigid or unavailable outside of scheduled hours.

Interview Experience

3

yes discuss the process and other criteeria fofr the admission i have prepared for this rounds my own becoasue the y wont say anything ... what were the topics of GD intervies questiosn or test pattern discuss

Night Life

4

The nightlife in and around Alliance University is fairly relaxed and student-friendly, though not as vibrant as you might find in the heart of Bangalore city. The campus itself winds down by late evening—most public areas like the library, cafeterias, and common zones close by 9:30 PM, while the gym remains open till around 9:30 PM for hostel students.

Placement Experience:

Initially back in 2014 when I passed out, the placement opportunities provided were not many. However they had good placement co-ordinators. I believe the placements have improved now. Many companies visited back then, like HP, Infosys etc. However, students were also encouraged to take part in Pool Campus interviews to get hired. Highest package was around 4 lakhs per annum for freshers. Only around 15-20 percent of students got placed through the college.

From 6th sem you can sit for placement. About 100+ companies visit and 200+ offers are made. More info you get in official website. You can trust official website. Don't worry about placement in RVCE. You work hard and you will get good placement. My plan right now is to go for masters in IISc. Almost all students are placed unless they opt for higher studies.
