My university is one of the oldest professional schools and one of the top-ranking private business schools. The option to pursue BBA from this university seemed very appropriate for me. So, it got a preference in my mind and I applied through the online application for the course. They considered the factors like AUSAT score, the score of the interview, and academic background in my overall profile (minimum score 45% in 12th) in the final selection round.

Recent job trends demand more professionals who can handle all critical problems and can develop critical thinking. I found no better option than this course to start my journey to be a professional as it deals with the basics of business and management of the current industry environment. The duration of this course was three years and in these three years, we had six semesters. International business was my area of specialization and the papers I read as my specialized papers were EXIM trade, Global Marketing Management, and Intercultural Human Resource Management. The experienced and supporting teaching staff helped us through the classroom training and we got the practical training through the industry internship program.

Though, I had not participated in the campus placement as I always wanted to pursue MBA after graduation. So, I think I can't say much about the placement program. According to my friends, they were offered job positions such as Associate analyst, financial controller, business associate, associate consultant, associate growth analyst, business analyst, etc. Some of the top recruiters were Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Kotak Mahindra bank, clear tax, AIM India Pvt. Ltd. Incred, HDFC AMC Ltd. and Reliance Capital etc.

The total registration fee and tuition fee I paid for the whole three years was Rs. 6,00,000. The facility of merit-based scholarships was available based on class 10 and 12 grades. Several companies from established sectors like banking, financial services, infrastructure, education, as well as emerging sectors like FMCG, retail, advertisement, e-commerce, and technological enterprises participated in the campus recruitment drive. I did not participate in the campus recruitment drive, but I heard that the highest package was up to Rs. 16.7 LPA.

Department of student support services always encouraged us to explore our skills and talents relating to academic and non-academic fields. I used to be a member of my favorite organizational leadership and strategy club called Genesis. Genesis organized different events relating to organizational strategy building through teamwork. We used to receive mental health counseling sessions at the counseling cell on our campus for our well being. The facility of a food court, gyms, indoor-outdoor games were also available at our university campus.
