Best college

I think, I have got the best. The faculty , friends, seniors, almost everything i got is perfect in their on way. They are so friendly and charming that I never feel like am away from my home. Talking with them is the best thing and now i missed that too.

Am a graduate in commerce. The syllabus was comparatively easier than other university’s syllabus because we have to study only 4 subjects in every semester, this number is upto 7 or 8 in other colleges.

Yes, our college have a very good 24*7 working placement cell. They provide various internship opportunities to the students that are majorly with the startups. But i didn’t take any internship during my course.

Our college was always in celebration mode. First of all we have all the department fest that are organised by department committee’s then there is an annual fest that is organised by union and ECA societies. There are a number of competitions that are arranged alongside the fest. One can participate in any of these and can showcase their talent.

It is quite reasonable. As a central university we have a subsidised fee structure. Our annual fee is near about ?6000- 7000. There are many scholarship programmes for the low income strata families.

There are many scholarship programmes for low income strata families. I didn’t avail any of them but i know a friend of mine whose family annual income is less than ?2 lakhs. So she applies for a programme which provide refund of her total college fee and in addition to that ?1000 per month is deposited in her bank account upto ?10000 per year.

There are various socities in our college. These are related to dancing, painting, singing, classical dancing, photography, theatre , etc. Am a member of Photography society i.e “Xposure” that cover all the official events of the college.

Our college doesn’t have any hostel facility. So there is no question of rating. We have to stay in PGs or Flats independently. That makes it costly for an outsider who doesn’t have any house there in delhi.

I have my interaction with my seniors only in the society and i must say they are helpful in many ways. They tell us the fun facts about our college. They always encourage us to participate in competitions of other colleges as well.

My college is affiliated to University of Delhi. So, as per criteria they make out cutoffs. It was 95% at my time. I got 10% quota for my regional language that i had studied in class 10th that makes me able to clear the required cutoff mark. So i got the admission in this college.

The faculty that i got is the best in my perspective. They have done there masters from University of delhi, so they can relate themselves with us as a student. Some of them are pursing doctorates. The faculty we got is according to the subject requirement.
