Course Curriculum Overview

4

now i will talk about my course chemical engineering i have not started the chemical engineering branch curriculum till now beacuse at present we have recently taken end sem of frist year now in july new sem third sem will start and our branch curriculum will start. if i talk why i choose this because i dont like coding and as well as mechanics and apart from that i have to select a good nit with decent branch and i was getting only mechanical and chemical there in decent branches. the frequency of exams ae 1.5hrs for mid sems and 3 hrs for end sems

Internships Opportunities

2

there are so many companies which provide internship like microsoft ,pwc ,amazon ,oracle ,tcs and many more i will get into third sem in july so i cant tell you more about this i will surely do projects when i will be enter into my third year for sure to get a good internship and placement. thats all

Placement Experience

4

the campus placement is so good when it comes to circuital branches but if we talk about non circuital branches then it it decent average 9-10 lpa but if you work hard then obviuosly you will get higher than that after 6th sem you will eligible for campus placement many big tech giants like microsoft, amazon, oracle,j.p morgan, flipkart and other companies like pwc, reliance, mahindra etc many companies visits there every year and offer a good number of offers if i do not consider the recession period in 2023 then the placement percentge is greater than 78

Fees and Financial Aid

listen first of all i am giving you the fees structure for general student first year income greater than 5 lakh and for first year only 1.tution fees = 62500 2.admission fees = 3500(one time) 3. institute caution moeny= 10K(refundable) 4.convocation fees = 1K 5. alumni activity fee = 1K 6. institute development fee = 2K 7.training and placement fee = 1500 8.laboratory fee = 2K 9. library charge = 1200 10. computing and internet charge = 3K 11. examination fee = 1200 12. electricity and water charge = 1700 13. student activity fund = 2500 14. insurance premium, health = 1500 now hostel related fees 1. hostel seat rent = 10k 2. hostel establishment charge = 1500 3. hostel caution money(refundable) = 5K 4. mess charge = as aplicable means not fixed so total fees will be 1,11,100 now if your income is less than 1 lakh or your category is sc,st,pwd then your tution fees means 62,500 will remit 2.if your family income is between 1 and 5 lakh then 2/3 of 62500 will remit. 3. if your family income is greater than 5 lakh then no remission i personally think that this fees is not so much as compared to other nits

Campus Life

4

there are mainly two big fets held here every year first one is technical fest aarohan and second one is cultural fest rectacy they generally held in the months of feb-march and they held on a large scale if i talk about our library is the big enough you will get ample of bookd there from every field and the library is fully air conditioned.and about classes they are also big enough with good vantilation means you will get feel that you are studying in a class of a premier institute of a country

Hostel Facilities

4

in every room there are three beds, three tables, three chairs, three almirah with three fans and three iron foldings. rooms are quite spacious you will get enough space to put your belongings apart from that you will get three lamp on each table . there is mess where you will get three times meals and the taste of the food is just eatable not so good or not so bad. you have to online registration for hostel and when you reached the hostel then room will be allot to you that day

Admission

My rank was not that good in which i would get top nits but if i compare thi nit with other nits which are comparable with it then i would say this college has its own legacy and comes under the national importance, coding culture is also so good here. and the admission process was so smooth through josaa and csab

Faculty

4

the faculty members overall are well qualified and with good behaviour and it depends upon you hpw you are behaving with them overall they are very good exception is always there. i personlly felt that satya bagchi sir of mathematics is very good professor. in first year all of you no matter what is your branch all are divided into 8 sections then after frist year all students will divided into their respective branches. there are two mid sems and two end sem exams occurs every year mid sems are generally easier as comapared to end sem and the course curriculum is relevant according to me because you will get to know about basic coding in first year itself .

Night Life

4

there is college gym and it is so old its components are also so old generally students prefers to go outside the campus for gym .there are so many cafeteria in campus like nescafe, wonder cafe.we generally spends our time there during your first sem your in timing will be around 7 pm because of obvious reasons but as you enters in second sem your restrictions will also become less.

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)
