Likes

campus is really good it feels like home with greenary and less heat than surrounding environment
hostel rooms and mess are good as well for the price they provide
Flexible class and faculty choosing is a unique pro of my college

Dislikes

The ratio is not quite good but still it works
There are bit restrictions for outings and gate timings
More strict than other college with some extra burden but beneficial for student

Course Curriculum Overview

If one wants to study computer science and is getting VIT Vellore main campus in or under category 3 it is worth it as it will provide the experience and also placements are quite descent too so depends on the student

Internships Opportunities

College provides the opportunities for internship but the competition is high so one must be prepared for it else there are companies which provide stripend and other options which college provides and is quite explorable

Placement Experience

Placements are good as considering the recent recession the college still kept the numbers high for the placements as the recent placement were quite good for cse and other related branches as again it depends on the overall candidate but due to more crowd the competition is high so one has to keep himself at the apex of the pyramid to get good placments

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees depends on the rank of the entrace VITEEE which is around 400000 for me as of catergory 3 for CSE branch . The fees would be waived if the score is high and can avail scholarship also depends on the caste and its more for NRI students. Merits are provided based on the performace of the top rankers

Campus Life

There are like multiple clubs in my college and they are a good experience along with 2 biggest fest in south India are conducted in our campus . The face biometrics and other tech advance facilities are making my college more stand out of the crowd and one of the best campus life

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee depends on the type of the hostel and number of beds chosen as of me 3bed Ac in a delux hostel costs around 150000Rs it might go less if opted to other normal hostel or different type of bed , rooms are quite nice along with overall services

Admission

VIT ranks in top 10 all over the India in NRIF ranking and has a quite good reputation over other colleges . Other colleges were descent but VIT is prefered for private college as its moe popular so attracts more placements

Faculty

Faculty are quite nice as we can select the faculty due to flexibility provided also exams are easy if one takes it seriously and maintains consistency over his acedemics as it all depends on the person who has dedication for his studies

Night Life

Night life is bit strict as to maintain the strictness the in time for hostel is around 9pm and restricted but one can enjoy it if associated with clubs. There is night library which is open till 1am and other events like hackathons which can last 48 hours as well providing a better experience

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

the honest vit review.

Viteee 2021 was held in online mode. there were many cases of cheating because of which the administration then didn't allow zooming in and showed the registration number as the watermark in multiple places. the cutoff went really high as the exam was held before jee and everyone wanted to secure a seat in a good private college. the exam server was v poor it had even crashed in one slot. all the details about the admission fees dates and forms were available on the official site. I am aware of students who are aware of nothing but still are in category 1 in CSE because they cheated and weren't caught, this really boils my blood because even after studying so hard I got category 2. the entrance is usually held offline mode but this was held in online mode and was nothing next to faithfully done....Read More

You should pass in 12 with 60% of marks to meet the eligibility criteria. You need to apply for the exam which is conducted by the college.
