- My campus is beautifully structure with greenary which makes it even more attractive.
- The cleanliness is also very well manage.
- They organise numerous seminar,invite judges and advocates .which is also very knowledgeable.
Dislikes
- They have greenary and all but the campus is small.
- Sometimes they said that you need to come even on Saturdays ,which is very frustrating
- They focus more on general and academic knowledge rather than skill development and vocational training
Course Curriculum Overview
I have already a keen interest in law .also the law subjects are very much interesting. The curriculum is quite beneficial and prepares is for better future ahead. According to me ,they should focus on skill development and practical knowledge also and engaging sessions helps alot.
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know stipend interships are not in my law department till now. Training and Dcpd placements are offered in other departments as well such as engineering,mba etc. They make us eligible for mcat exams.
Placement Experience
4tha and 5th years students started getting placements. Microsoft, infosis,IBM, Amazon etc are the companies who recognises our students. Highest 52 lakhs per annum. 50% students get placed in companies I want to appear in judiciary exam after i get graduated.
Fees and Financial Aid
I m ballb student,and my academic fees cost around 38500, per sem,apart from it we submit registration fees also which is 2380rs and other placements fees such as dcpd cost 3500rs.they charge event fees such as tech fest and concerts,which almost cost around 800 .
Campus Life
Tech fest and hackathons held in each sem . Recently they have organised sports Fiesta in March. They provide us with our Main course books and other knowledgeable books. We have law clubs, student welfare programmes etc
Admission
Actually, first i opted for chandigarh university but the law course is very much expensive there. In CU I have already cracked the cucet,and interview,but suddenly my planned changed and i choose cgc, mohali over CU.
Faculty
No doubt we have very supportive faculties and they help us a lot and clear our doubts simultaneously in the lectures .Dr sukhwinder Sir,my punjabi basic professor,is very kind and very knowledgeable and personally my favorite professor among all.we have semester exams as well as mid sem exams the level is quite medium and to hard if you focus on lectures and self study.
Night Life
There is central library as well as specified libraries for each department. The hostel timing are till 7pm.after that you are not allowed to get out . There is barista,apple bees and Nescafes in our college for hangout.
