Yatan the second home

The college is just like a second home to us. But i think they should improve their office facculty. But overall the college provides you with the best environment and comfort so that you can reach success .

The course carriculum is a bit lenthy but you can easily coep up if you are regular . The college structure is huge . They have a 4 storeyed building to which their school is attacted though divided by partition . They have a canteen with veg food . A well equipped library and a basketball court . They even have a common room at the top most floor

As a student of honours we dont have anything as placement as such but they provide you with various opportunity for showing your skills through different activities like inter college competition and events.

The most important Event is "shrijan" which is celebrated every year grandly in the month of end jn or mid feb. The others events are shree and other departmental programs which happen thoughout the year .apart from the cultural events the also conduct annual sports.

As the college is a private one though under calcutta university thus the fees amount is a bit higher than other govt. Colleges. But it is worth the money. As the college ensures you a bright future .

There are surely some facility for the underpriviledged ones. But i didnot avail for one till date. They provide styphen for s.c candidates and you can also apply for kanyashree styphen as provided by the govt of west bengal

They do have a ground, basketball court, swimming pool , dance room library , canteed (veg only) well furnished labs and common room with gym facility.These all are available to the students thoughout the year .

I didnot opt for hostel facility but they do have one for the students who require it but its a bit far from the college . But there are several pg facility near the college so the matter of accomodation wont be a issue

Cant really say about the alumni but most of the students who passed from this college are well settled. And the senior students are very supportive as well as coorperative .they always guide you nd most importantly they never rag you even in your initial year.

During my time the entance was not there so we were selected on the basis of our 12th marks . They had put out merit list accordingly i got chance in the second merit list . I went to the college in the alloted date and the admission procedure was held .

The faculty of the college are too good . They are highly qualified and trear you like their own. They are both understanding and supportive. If you are regular to the class then their teachings are enough for you to secure good marks in the exams.
