Course Curriculum Overview

My elder sister influenced me to join this course and make a decision to be a teacher in future. So I'm doing graduation in education hons. It prepares me for further academic pursuits to a good teacher.

Campus Life

Our college celebrates every festivals along with our college programs. We do social a yearly college program, reunions of ex students, farewell party, freshers party and many more. We do enjoy every occasion in our college

Admission

I applied 4 colleges in Howrah but I prefer to be here because it's very close to my home and it's only for girls. My preference was this only. I didn't get rejected from any of the colleges I applied for, but my preferences was matched in this college so I get admission

Faculty

In my college there is no faculty. I've my own department, that is education department. In which I'm doing my bachelor degree. A 3 year course which includes 6 semesters. Before the final semester exams we have to give an internal exams of every subject. And also a tutorial which means project file.

Night Life

Our college includes canteens, library but not for publics. It's only for the college students. We have hostels and I don't know about the hostel timing cause I'm not in the hostel. Our locality is the centre of Howrah near to Howrah station so the distance never matters for the far away students

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
