Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of our college is very well arranged. Our study materials and texts were very interesting. The duration of the course is of 3 years and every year 2 semester exams were conducted. Our college also arranges for many internal assignments and project for us to do . The exams and syllabus are manageable.
Placement Experience
Companies like Axis Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Spicejet, WIPRO visited our college for offering job opportunities to the able students. Our career councelling cell is a very active section of the college which groomed us for interviews and group discussions. Many internship programs were also offered by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee was Rs 3,430 for a year which is feasible. This amount is actually less considering the facilities that the college provided us with. This fee include all the charges and no hidden charges are there.
Campus Life
Students are encouraged by the teachers to take part in various extra curricular activities. Annual Sports is arranged every year by the college. Students can play many indoor and outdoor games. Laboratories are maintained. Departmental seminars and workshops are arranged successfully every year.
Hostel Facilities
Our college also has a hostel facility.The infrastructure of the hostel is good. A gym and a library us also present in the hostel. Rooms are cleaned daily. The food of the hostel is good and healthy. Proper discipline is maintained and no indecent activities are tolerated.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors were very supportive. Their academic performance were brilliant. They helped us with notes and study materials and even tutored us in break times. They were totally against ragging and cared for our academic betterment.
Admission
The eligibilty criteria for admission is that students must have scored 50% marks in aggregate having 45% marks in the subject of choice. I filled the application form online. The college then, uploaded its merit lists. My name was there in the 2nd list and so I took my admission.
Faculty
All our professors were very qualified. They were kind and compassionate. They managed the class with discipline and rules. They imparted their best knowledge in the subject. The head of the department, Professor Dibyendu Ganguly was the best teacher we got. He taught us like a friend.
