Course Curriculum Overview
It was my decision to choose mechanical engineering as my stream and career. The reason is it includes logical thinking, reasoning and a lot of physics. The system is a little old fashioned and bookish. Focusing more on work based learning is part which need improvement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is 9650 rupees per year. At the admission time you may cost the amount as per your caste category. As an OBC, it costed me 16000 at the beginning. There is a scholarship called e grantz which is available for everyone exception general category student.
Campus Life
Iam a first year student so i dont know mich about the festivals but the SFI and Mech department are actively conducting festivals and clubs are organising various programmes for improvement of students carreer
Admission
I applied in some main government engineering college in kerala including this college. Through the allotment system I finally got admission in this college. I got rejected from TKM college kollam Kerala because my rank in entrance was not enough.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is much as needed. All the faculties and others like librarian etc are very suppotive, helping and loyal to service. I almost like all the faculties of my department. Exams are more difficult than other boards outside kerala
Night Life
Gym is absent. Library is present within every textbook needed for studying with peaceful atmosphere. The closing off is 8:30.pm. Campus starts at 9 and end at 4pm but gates are open from 7am to 8pm. Girls hostel is available but boy's is not.
