Remarks

Only one negative remarks about the college. The college does not have a good canteen. The caFeteria in the college is nice. The college has many trees and a lake . There is groung too for football and cricket.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is really very well architected. All parts are covered. In examination question paper,all parts are covered and they give a detailed course outcome. Question paper is really well set .

Placement Experience

Placement is good in our college. A minimum package of 4 lakhs per annum . An average packahe of 5 lakhs per annum . In campus placements are done and campus drives are organized. The college does not provide any internships.

College Events

There are four main fests organizrd in our college. The main of them is Techtrix and Regalia. Techtrix is the technology fest held every year and Regalia is the cultural fest held every year. Different colleges participate and take a lot of prizes. GOT is the sports fest .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee stuructre is feasible. The fees is not high. Lowest fees for those who are persuing engineering. It is 45000 per semester and its a 4 years course so a total of 3,60,000 for engineering. This is the best u get in this fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student loan can be taken from the bank and the college approves the loan without much tantrums and drama. I have not availed any loan or scholarship. The college does not provide any scholarship facility.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activites are very good. Sports fest are organized. Trees planting sessions are organized. The college also has a Rotaract club. The Rotaract club organizes different seminars for thr betterment of students.

Hostel Facilities

The college does not have its own hostel. There are many paying guests and private hostels near the college campus. The pg's provide fooding and accomodation. There is no tie up between the college and the pg and hostel.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a good alumni network. Seniors are very much helpful in all aspects whether it be financially or related to studies. The seniors are always ready to help. The seniors are very friendly and the alumis also give recommendation to the students for the job.

Admission

I gave an MCQ exam of WBJEE. 1 marks for correct answer and -0.35 for wrong answer. I went through 3 rounds of counselling for admission in RCCIIT . Exam is of +2 level. Its not so tough to get admission in there.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good. They cover all the parts of the syallabus and all the classes and lab classes are held everyday. Faculty is very friendle and experienced. Helps a lot in other things too.

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

When i was applying for engineering colleges , i hade a few criteria in my mind thats is affordability, placement and potential. I have applied several colleges like MCKV and GURUNANAK in gurunanak i got IT but the college was very far from my home so i choose RCCIIT because of convinient in transportation and affordability. I applied for Netaji Subhas Engineering College (NSEC) and also got confirmed admission but its fees structure was 15-20% higher than my current college RCCIIT & also it was very less accessable and had no hostel facilities. I choosed this college because it is autonomous and government run by the State of West Bengal and is affordable and also has good accessability with satisfactory placement report . Yes i got rejection from some other colleges ,i didnt make it due to my WBJEE rank being not any good .My score was below their cutoff You can join RCCIIT by WBJEE counselling through your JEE or WBJEE scores .Almost 80% students are inducted through WBJEE and 20% is left for JEE students .College has no management quota .The cutoff for WBJEE for RCCIIT starts from 10,000 for CSE and runs upto 90,000 for Electrical Engineering...Read More
