Course Curriculum Overview

3

So we do field trips and interships to get real life experiences which is preparing us for future But this teaching from ppt shouldn't be encouraged so much because teachers only repeat the things which are written not all but some Exams are okayish and on time but if like NAAC visits or something it sometimes delayed

Internships Opportunities

3

As in b.sc I don't think so we are provided with any placements but we do get many internships which our college inform us time to time to sharpen our skills and real life applications Like Mushroom farming, fisheries

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for bachelors degree in science is 7480 rs per year and if you have income less than 2,00,000/yr then addmission is free under government scheme . All the govt. Scholarships ,nsp scholarships are available. The price increase decrease depends on the government of assam, college holds no authority in fees increment or decrement.

Campus Life

3

The annual events takes place in the month of feb and general freshers when the new batches arrive so frequently functions are held with invited famous singers and sometimes our respected CM himanata biswa sharma as a chief guest Our central library consists of around 47,000 hard copy books along with e-books Few classes are fitted with projector and screen when needed shifting of classes are done Sports happens only on sports week

Admission

I applied to many colleges but i have no idea of the rejections maybe due to high cutoff for my course. First i took admission in mongoldoi clg then when the 2nd merit list was published my name was on the list of pandu clg so i withdrawn my name from mongoldoi clg and took admission here as i want an environment, interactions as i belong from a small town so there's not too much options The admission process was quite simple my name came in the list as i have secured 80% in my H.S exam so i qualified the cutoff and i got admitted which took around 20-30mins.

Faculty

4

I'm from Zoology department here the HOD is Kalyan deka so we have a bunch of 10 teachers and they are very helpful I like every teacher but our HOD is little bit of strict but nice There are 3exams per sem 1st sessional, 2nd sessional and then the final exams which is conducted by board ( guwahati University)

Night Life

3

The clg itself has its own gym along with two canteens and a campus As I don't stay in hostel i have no idea of that Some famous places include brahmaputra ghat, a mandir back side of our college and may shops are present there and quite busy road

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
