Remarks

There are only 2 Government colleges affliated to Guahati university that offers BSC in Biotechnology and compared to other Private institutions like Assam Down Town university The fee structure is quite reasonable in pandu college The admission is based on merit i.e class 12 percentage

Biotechnology is a growing sector and it encouraged me to pursue my Bachelor degree in this subject.The course is designed for Research as well as Industrial sector.The exams are a bit tough but with proper understanding and knowledge about the subject it can be easy

WE WERE GIVEN THE OPPURTUNITY TO DO A INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR 2 WEEKS IN GUWAHATI BIOTECH PARK AS A COURSE CURICULLUM IN OUR 3RD SEMESTER SUMMER BREAK.NO STIPEND WAS NOT OFFERED IN OUR INTERNSHIP BUT WE WERE ABLE TO LEARN A LOT OF NEW THINGS IN THAT PROGRAM

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay Fourty Six thousand rupees(Rs 46000) as annual fee .The fee structure is Rs 23000 per semester.The fee is same for all category as it is a self financed course.There is no financial aid or scholarships available in this course.

Campus Life

Annual college week is held every year during Febuary and during this week various sports and activities are organized .There are a wide range of book and journals available in the library.Our classroom is equipped with modern biotechnological tools required for the learning and understanding of the subject.There are many clubs like music club dance club etc in our college

Faculty

The faculty members are kind,helpful and guide the students in various aspects.There are 4 Teaching staff and a lab technician in the department.Dr. Annirudha Sharma the Head of the department is the best faculty according to me. Each sem has 2 exams sessional and final

Night Life

Our college has a gym that is opened till 6 pm Library is opened till 5 30 pm and our college has a canteen that is opened till 5 30 pm.Yes the locality is safe to roam around at night. The hostel timing for boys is 7:00 pm.and the campus timing is 5 30 pm

A comprehensive review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I like Mathematics & Physicss and I want to know more about the subject the course. The faculty is very supportive And helpful. The faculty members are all qualified MSC and PhD in Mathematics. They are very good teachers. Besides the semester examination, there are some class tests held by the faculty. As the subject is very informative the students studied hard to pass the exam.

Overall B Borooah College is a one of the best College in the state of Assam as well as North East India. The cultural terms of the college is mentionable. Singers and actors like Zubeen Garg, Adil Hussain, etc. are the alumni of the college.
