What Students Say

Likes

The overall curriculum is good for students.
The seniors here support and guide you properly.
We can opt for coaching and other stuffs as well while studying here.

Dislikes

The infrastructure here is not that good.
The faculty needs to be improved and regular.
There should be opportunities for students like moots and others to provide over all growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here is great and the frequency of exams is good as well. The curriculum is being changed as per the needs as well. Most of the subjects that are important are covered in the present curriculum.

Class Size: 147Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year we paid rs. 50000 as the fee and after that every year we're paying 45000 rs fee. There are scholarship benefits for students from low income family which depends on many other factors and can be different for different students.

Campus Life

Campus life here is not that interesting, but I can say that it is improving day by day and for this thanks to the students who are aware enough and responsible enough to take actions for the betterment of college which will result in their personal betterment only.

Admission

I applied to central universities through cuet and wanted BALLB only. So the best through cuet were BHU and AU so since I didn't passed the cutoff for BHU, i opted for the University of Allahabad as my choice. It is good as there is High Court here and the law culture here.

Faculty

If compared to the students, faculty is relatively less. Some of the faculties are good but most of them is not up to the mark. They teach well but law is a practical subject so just theories aren't going to work. Exams held are of good level and it is difficult to score good in them. I won't say that exams need to be improved. They are pretty good.

Night Life

The night life of our college is okayish. Library closes in the evening and so does the canteen. Canteen here is not that great and provides very basic things only. People hangout anywhere in cafes outside the campus or anywhere like that.

Galgotias University is Greatest!

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

GLA University Mathura is a marvel!

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

All About the Campus Life

Placement Experience:

In BA. LL.B. especially students are elidgible from 5th year i.e. 9TH semester for college placements, the college has a 99 % placement rate which is very impressive and students are given a vast number of choices among the companies. The companies which recruit are usually top tier like Mahindra, Wipro etc. The highest ever package in our college is 50 LPA. I am planning to do corporate law after the completion of my degree for which the college also has a corporate resource department.

Don't come in allahabad university

After my CUET exam i applied in delhi university and allahabad university , i also got seat in delhi university in deen dayal collage , i also paid the fee in that collage , i also got institue of engineering and technology lucknow - with chemical branch but i cannot reach on time on councelling day because of family issue and that day i was in train and that train was 6 hour late ,but after that i also get admission in allahabad university , because allahabad university is more near to my home so i decided to persue degree in this collage .but this was biggest mistake of my life , because this collage is not able to called central university, if you want to take admission in this collage you have to give entrence called CUET , then councelling on his own website. cutoff will be low...Read More
