THE BEST PART OF MY LIFE- MY COLLEGE

Our course is designed by ASTU(ASSAM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY).The course is made as per the students requirements. The exam is divided into two division. Internal and external. Internal is of 30 marks and external is of 70 marks.

Placements is average being a state college. But it is better the most of the private college. Package depends on the company that comes to recruit. Both govt and private jobs are available. I am not sure whether our college provides internship or not.

We have a cultural festival every year called PHOENIX.It is a 2 day festival, Celebrated throughout the college. We also celebrate the national festival like Sarswati puja, Vishwakarma puja, etc. The students and locals are invited in every festival

Its quite inexpensive. It was 10000 for a year during my 1st year. Exam fees and hostel fees are not included. But they are also quite feasible. The exam fees is 1000 more or less. Hostel fees is 10000 for a year. Since it is a govt. College the fee structure is feasible.

I took a central scholarship offered by govt. with the verification from the college. I get a money of 10000 per year for the college expenses. They aslo provide free internship to the students by paying there fees.

Labs are maintained well. Some are newly made. There is aslo a boys common room where all the indoor games are available. We have playing ground for each hostel. Cricket and football are played regularly.

There is a Facebook page for our college students. The alumni are present there. They provide us with job information. Medical help, important updates are given there.The seniors help us with everymatter and in every way possible.

There is an entrance exam called CEE. Addmission is given on the basis of rank scored in the exam. I got a rank of 727 in CEE 2018. Based on rank, students were called for addmission on different day. I was called in the second day of the addmission process. I was lucky to get a seat in csw department.

The faculty is very good. Most of the professors are IIT and NIT passouts. They cover the course in time with proper explanation of each topic. They work very hard to maintain the reputation of the college.
