Need infrastructure developments. i mean even the logo is turning from silver to green.

The course contains deep knowledge of computer science field. But its a little bit outdated. They need to update the course. It isn't much research driven. Its fairly straightforward. If you are really looking forward to become an IT expert by taking this course then its not gonna happen

In the recent years the placement numbers have reduced. Placement is plenty in the CSE branch. But the other branches dont have much placements.

well there is a freshmen festival to start with which decent i would say. If you join the MCA department you would really enjoy festival and events. They celebrate teachers day quite decently but their main event is their own department freshers. Its awesome to honest. Then there is an inter hostel rally and sports. Huge competition there.

the fee structure is really inexpensive. In the MCA department the admission fee last year was about 11,000.In the 2nd semester the fee is about or less than 2000. In the odd semesters it is a little bit more but still is really inexpensive. But for a government run college it should have even less.

No I didn't opt for any scholarships because i don't fall under any category such sc or st. Its really difficult to get scholarship there.

Campus life is decently decent i would say. They could maintain the campus a little bit more. it would have been really nice since they have plenty of space to work with. Like every engineering college males have much morr numbers than the females but there is no gender discrimination. Every year there is a robotics and debate competitions between different colleges.

The alumni from the MCA department are really good. They are all over in Bangalore. They really help juniors in off campus placements.

After doing BCA i was very sure to opt for this course. Admission contains several steps : 1. online form fillup on the ASTU website. 2. then an admit card will be given as a hall pass for the entrance. 3. after entrance a merit list is released. 4. Accordingly students get an allotment number in the counseling process 5.students get their admission in their desired field of interest

It depends on the department. The computer science engineering department is really good. but the MCA faculty lack quality. There are going to be new faculty maybe in the next year. Not all the faculty are bad. But some of them don't have the skills to be honest.
