Remarks

Only positive remarks is never possible for any place. It wouldn't be honest, even if I say so. There were many lacks but the greatness that this college carries, it overcomes everything. I have already provided the good stuffs about the college. Only thing that bothered me during my time in that college was the lack of procedures towards clean washrooms and a good canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Very good course for those who has interest in IT industry. Exams were used to conducted in semesters. Some assignments and projects also carried marks. And there were 2 semester in each year. It was a 3 years course.

Placement Experience

5

No, there was no opportunity of internship. We got only opportunities for placement. There is a big list of companies which came there for placements including MNCs like Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc.

College Events

5

All of the pujas like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja etc. were celebrated there. Other than that department wise functions were the main attractions. Many well known celebrities used to come for these events. Spectacular was each of them. Also some DJ nights, Food festivals, Book exhibitions etc were great additions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was quite feasible at our time. It might have changed now. But looking at the kind of quality of education and placement opportunities, it was not that too much. It was very less than other government or private organizations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there were some facilities for scholarship that was provided to meritorious students. Though I was not one of them, I know about some of my friends who got some scholarships. Not sure about any loan system.

Campus Life

4.5

Yes, there was a big ground for many outdoor sports like cricket, football etc. Yearly sports events were organized too. Also indoor sports halls were also present there. Also gym facility was available for free.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were too much helpful for every queries we had, may it be in our studies or the placements. There were some fuss about making a strong alumni community, but I am sure about it as there is no information sent by faculties till now.

Admission

Applied for this college through its online portal. Then got the selection list also through the same portal. Got selected in the 2nd selection. Then went there on the mentioned date. Paid through bank challan for admission and got my ID cards and all on the same day.

Faculty

4.5

Talented with knowledge and also teaching skills, this is how I'll describe the faculties. (It's obvious that not all of them fall into this category) But some of the experienced faculties were more than enough for the difficult papers.

Course curriculum is very good at niser and are comparable to some foreign institutes. There are world class facilities available for you and the labs are the main insights here. But you have to be somewhat attentive regarding your exams as exams are easy to moderate level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a lecturer so i choosed the royal course Masters in zoology rather than any other specialisation course. And the course Masters of Science in Zoology, Botany is provided by very few private universities in Odisha and AIPHU is one of them i think probably the best one. Faculty do come and leave but there replacement is done simultaneously. The faculty student ratio is normal. Most of the faculty members have completed there PhD as well as Post Doctorial research from foreign universities and medical. Our faculty focus on building strong foundation. They start from basics and teach the difficult topics in very simpler way. We have two midterms each of 1 hours and of 100points which get converted to 20 marks. And one endterm of 50 marks and 10 marks for internal assessment. Midterms are brainstorming but it makes us thorough in specific units which makes endterm exam easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this allows me to delve deeper into the passion for understanding animal life and their biological processes. Secondly, this is also a step towards my goal to become a researcher. The faculty members at our university are very dedicated, highly qualified, with their post-docs from a renowned university and are very cooperative. They teach us in a very friendly way, and their passion for research enriches the academic environment. The difficulty level for term exams is medium, neither too hard nor too easy, and requires hard work.
