- The department of English has the best faculty . The best thing is their approach to students treating them like adults as well as caring for them like students.
- The infrastructure of the college is something really great.With a well furnished library , a great hall for socials and lus green campus.

Dislikes
- There is an abasentee fee of rs 10 for each day absent .
- The college canteen can be updated with better quality food.
Course Curriculum Overview
With university exams annually, the college held class tests every three months and a pre mock exam the course was well adjusted. The teachers prepares the students well enough for the exams ass well the upcoming life after college. After finishing the acedics of 3 years a student would find it a cake walk to apply for any master's exam any where
Fees and Financial Aid
Apart from the yearly fees we had to pay a one time admission fee of Rs 30000. Tuition fees was 10000 rs and other fees like registration for university, NSS and miscellaneous was 10000. We were the last batch that was in a yearly system with exams annually for 3 years under the University of North Bengal
Campus Life
There are various events throughout the year like the sports event called X-Uberance held in the month of February every year. Followed by a cultural fest . Other than this there are several feasts. Almost all the required books and journals are there in the library. Other than this there is the NSS national social service which meets every two months. There is an anti ragging cell run by students.
Admission
It was the only college I applied for because I knew I'd get a chance in it without any doubt. It is the best college within my locality .But I knew the teachers before admission as they were friends to my own uncle. For the admission process, at first students need to sit for a one to one counselling session where they are assessed as per their choices and courses are suggested
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 . The faculty to student relationship is the best with all the faculties being the best approachable teachers in my view. Of the the 4 faculties I liked the three of them. They are Dr Pavanveer Kaur, Soumyadeep Ghosh , Dr Prasun Banerjee. They are no doubt the best faculties . The only faculty I didn't like was Mr Rajarshee Ghosh. I didn't like the way he taught.
Interview Experience
No there were no such group discussion or interview rounds but there was counselling session where teachers sat with every student and asked them the reason for choosing the particular subject. They discussed about which elective subject would be the most beneficial for students and how the honours subject will help the students .
Night Life
As the college is situated nearly 20 km outskirts of Siliguri and nearly the same distance from Jalpaiguri , the night life is particularly null. After sunset the life nearly come to a halt in the college place . But most students are from siliguri so the night life becomes quite active here. With a lot of places to hangout like City Center
