Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers fundamental library and information science concepts, including classification, cataloging, information retrieval, and library management. The curriculum aims to equip with practical skills that can be applied in various library setting, such as public, academic, and specific libraries. teaching method provided study materials are comprehensive adding interactive online lectures or video based content. Exam conducts TEE twice a year, in June and December. Difficulty level of exam can vary depending on individual preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Library internship offered in IIT,NITS and different central libraries with minimum period of 90 days of training . In this training we learnt library services, automation and digitization, administration, publication activies. Some more task like cataloging and classifying materials, participation in digitization project. IGNOU doesnot provide any stipened.

Campus Life
Independent study , its function is distance education so independent learning is paramount. IGNOU's main library in Delhi holds vast collection of books and journals. It also provide access to e-Gyankosh physical book are also available in regional center library.

the level of interaction can vary significantly depending on specific regional centre and councellor availability. Student interactions with faculty are limited to scheduled councelling session or though online communication. IGNOU conduct TEE 30% weightage on assignment 70% weightage on theory
Interview Experience
The admission process of BLIS program is quite straightforward and doesnot involved any GD,interview or any written test. Eligibity to take admission: Bachelor degree in any descipline with atleast 50% marks. Admission are conducted online through IGNOU portal. Applicant need to register, fill out the application form and upload the required document.
