My experience at IIIT Nagpur: Good and Bad

Our course curriculum is queit heptic as we have one exam in every month so it becomes difficult to explore other fields in between. But this curriculum helps to maintain punctuality in academics work.

well, as recession period is going on. So, the average package has been less compared to the last year. the average package of 2023-24 was around 15 lakhs and highest package was around 75 lakhs and median is around 13 lakhs.

the academics curriculum is quiet heptic as there is an exam every month. Seniors are very helpful and they share their useful experience and guide to be proficient in a stream. This college is still in a developing stage, so it doesn't have that much of college life experience but if your primary focus is to secure a good job in tech field then, this college can be very good.

As, it is my first year, i'm giving more priority on my cgpa. Therefore, i'm not involved in any clubs yet. But, my fellow classmates are in various clubs like Music club, Start up club etc. in library we get most of books related to academic subjects and some college magazines

i got the seat in iits but i a lower branch like ciivil, metallurgy. As is the era of the tech fields and lots of opportunities are there in it as well. So, i decided to opt for CSE core in this college.

we have quiet descent faculty-student ratio. In my first semester, i like Mayank sir because of his way of teaching. he teaches in very systematic way which makes it very easy to understand any difficult concept as well. I don't have any particular haterd for any faculties, all have different style of teaching and personality. there are total of three exams in first semester. first two are sessionals exams of 15 marks and last is end sem exam of 50 marks.

in night, they don't allow students to go out of the hostel premises. But, during any fests or organisation, they does allow us to participate and enjoy the fests. our college timings are from 9 to 4 for first year, this might changes sometimes according to professor's convenience.
