One of the Best NITs

They added the subjects which are useful to our placements and Job opportunities. And Our couse curriculum mainly focuses on Research aspects and paper publishing. The faculty also teaches the subjects very well. But it will be useful to us if they change the curriculum according to the changing word and latest technologies.

We are allowed to go to internship in the final year. Many companies like AMD, Nvidia, Intel, Samsung, Mediatek, Google, Ola, Apple will offer intenship to our college students. And stipend varies from 20000 to 1 Lack per month.

Our college is providing many placement opportunities and internship opportunities. We are eligible for internship from 1st semister onwards and Full time placements after completion of 1st year. Many companies like ADI, Samsung, Nvidia, Intel, Google, Apple, Ola, Mediatech,etc,.... will visit our college every year. almost 90% of students are getting placements every year. I want to join in a core company after completion of M.Tech.

We have to pay fee 2 times a year, before starting of semister. Tution fee will be 30000 per semister and other fee will be 10000 per semister, Hostel + Mess fee will be 30000 per semister (Mess fee 140/- per day). For SC,STs tution fee is excempted. We have to qualify GATE examination to secure M.Tech admission in our college and we will get monthly 12400/- MHRD scholarship.

Our college will conduct many fests every year like Cosmo fest in September, Innovision in November, Nitrutsav in February. Thousands of books and journals are availbale in our library and digital library. Every class room has a Projector equiped digital class room. Our college has 2 stadiums and they conductsmany games like Inter NIT sports, Intra Odisha sports, Inter hall, Intra hall sports. Many clubs are there in our college.

Our college have 7 boys hostels, 2 girls hostels and 1 couple hostel. Every hostel is having Gym, AC Study room, Sports room. In the mess they will provide tea, Breakfast, snacks and dinner. Weekly 5 days they will provide non veg. but they need to improve food taste. And we have green mess for vegitarians. every hostel is double sharing rooms and few hostels having single sharing rooms.

Our college NIRF Ranking is better than few IITs and every year many research papers are being published from our college. and our college is also providing many internship as well as placement opportunities. I have also applies other NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal and NIT Warangal. but i didn't get admission there. I got the JRF Opprtunity from SRM University, CHennai but I rejected that because NIT Rourkela is better than SRM University in many aspects like Research, Placements, etc,.... To get M.Tech Admission in NIT Rourkela we need to clear GATE with good score. and we have to attend counselling in CCMT.

We are having almost 1:10 faculty-to-student ratio. The faculty are very helpful. Almost all are experienced faculties and they will teach and clarify doubts very well. We will have 2 exams in each semister namely, Mid Sem Exams which contains 20 marks and End sem exams which contains 50 marks. The exams little bit difficult.

Our college have Gym facility in every hostel and one Central Gym. We have a Central library and every hostel have a AC Study hall. Our college is also have many canteens, Dominos, Keventers, Swimming pool. We are allowed to roam out of hostel till 12 AM. And our college will be very beatiful in the night. We can experience beaty while roaming with friends in the campus.
