Likes

Teacher for ece are better than cse because of no permanent campus we can eat wherever we want and not pay the mess fee and everyone is well behaved bz everyone comes from a educated background
There are many clubs which you can participate in the dance club the singing club the acting club the speaking or debating club
Lab are neat are equipments are nice also the whether of pune is really nice

Dislikes

Because of less students there is no such enjoyment in events
Because of no permanent campus we are barely getting what we deserve
The budgets for Events is really less so events are not that great

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted cse but because I couldn't get because of less percentile therefore I got into ece course the jobs are really great from national institute therefore I took it first of all a permanent campus is required

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee is 1 lakh 20 thousand for tution 60k for hostel and around 25 k for mess registration fee was 5k which was returned some dasa students pay more mess for girls is not compulsory because of the temporary campus but we will shift in around 3 months maybe there the fee structure will change a Lil idk

Campus Life

We only have one annual fest iconclave which also got cancelled this time because of less budget issue which is so wrong the library is literally a room with 2 benches sports and extracurricular activities you have to arrange yourself nothing is provided by the college

Hostel Facilities

We are not provided with almirah we have open racks for clothes and stuff some students got it and not all we are provided with hot water for bathing and drinking water filtered meal is your choice as mess is not mandatory but average rate per thali is 60 ruppe

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Well iiit pune comes under top 5-7 iiit in India and because it is a national institute I opted for it and also you feel respected I got it from jee mains and got 97 percentile I was getting nit but lower branch I wanted these therefore this was the best option out of everything I was getting

Faculty

In ece students are less so the faculty students Interaction are more but in case there are too many students so not that great the best faculty are for computer language and maths i didn't like be faculty the subject is really tuff and with bad teacher it becomes difficult now the pattern has changed there is continuous evaluation quiz viva presentation and mid end and end sem

Night Life

No gym no cafeteria Library with no space hostel timings for girls is 9 and on Sundays its 9:30 hangout places are sunset point or hungry sardar no night life because of 9 as an inn time so yeah hope for better life at permanent campus

Most of students get placed in the company where they worked as intern. Which is PPO(pre placement offer). Highest package for this year is 1.5 crore .

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
