Likes

The infrastructure of the college is awesome.
There is no curfew time inside the college campus.
The professors of the college are highly educated.

Dislikes

Less interaction between the professors and students
Being a research oriented college, the academics are hectic.
The fee is really high as compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is more theory-based, and the students must strive and work hard for grades here. It's not a cakewalk. The students can use the curriculum to enhance their theory and then brush up on the practical skills.

Internships Opportunities

The college tries its best to make most of the students grab an internship offer. But this year, due to recession only a few students were able to grab that opportunity. Though, the college have a lot of research projects to work on with professors.

Placement Experience

My college placements this year have come to a halt; only 75% of the students are placed when usually 95% of the people were being placed. The highest package is of 51 LPA as of now and average is 21LPA . I plan to take a good placement after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise tuition fee is 4,50,000 Rs. It increases by 10% every year. I am not sure about the fee concession for SC/ST. International students also join our college , whose fees are much higher than hours per semester.

Campus Life

The campus life is amazing at IIIT-DELHI with no curfew timings. It has a 24/7 canteen and swiggy/blinkit delivers products at your hostelstep. The clubs are not very active though. The technologies within the classroom are sufficient. All kinds of sport equipment are available free to use.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are excellent, all facilities are provided without a doubt The mess meal is okayish. Hostels are affordable but less available The locality is okayish; staying at a hostel rather than in PG nearby is better.

Admission

This is a highly reputed Government institution. It is a research based institute with highly qualified professors. Its average package is also competitive I applied to BITS PILANI, DTU , NSUT, IIIT LUCKNOW

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is different for different courses. The college has a mix of great and good professors. The exams are always around the corner in the form of quizzes and assignments besides the mindsems and endsems.

Night Life

The nightlife is also amazing. We are free to explore Delhi at night if we want as we can come back to our hostel at any time. Gym is also 24/7. Library is also 24/7 The whole campus is safe to walk at night.

My college placement also good and average package is 195000 lakh and highest international package is 1 crore and Indian package is 82lakh and many companies visited my college and my college give 100 Percent scholarship

Internship at IIT Delhi

Placement Experience:

The placements at the college are fine. Most of the students get good placements after completing the course. Also, for the students who are not willing to take placements, there are other career options as well like Higher studies etc.

Honest life at IITD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course so that I can acquire knowledge about textile technology and help my father in his business ( he is an owner of a textile industry).there are 12-15 faculties and a number of students is 90. the faculties are well qualified and experienced. My Life After JEE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after 1st year itself. The highest package was around 16 lakh per month and the average package was around 1 lakh per month. Around 75% of students get placed every year.

An honest review

Placement Experience:

The students become applicable for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. The biggest package of the college goes up to 2 Crore Rupees and the average package is 12 Lakh rupees. The profile offered includes Software development, Product management, and Data analyst. 90 per cent of students get placed. No plans as yet.

Placement Experience:

There is on campus placement. You can register on portal of OCS IITD and you can apply to various company, submit resume and give entrance exams and all the shortlisting processs. Average package is around 9-11 LPA and there are many students who get placement outside India and also 1 cr + package.

Intern Season

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are decent 12-XYZ Lpa on average but high workload and pressure especially during the December placement session. The lowest package could be 7-8Llpa, highest - is 4cr. All the top companies, Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, PwC, EY, Consulting & Finance companies, Startups, SDE roles, Tech, and Noncore are decent. but Core placements are not good. Many people opt for noncore placements. Placement -90-93% of those who sit.

Overall I think My college is best.It was full of memories, I'm doing job now and it's because of my college.

Placement Experience:

As i heard from the seniors, the placement are pretty neat . They get good packages. They sure that everyone get placed . But to get that you need pretty decent GPA . And this branch is versatile in the job world , so its good.According to the placement records, around 94-95% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies. In summer breaks also, students are allowed to join social internship in 1st year.

I applied to several top colleges including NSUT,DTU IIIT Hyderabad and few other colleges i got confirmend admission offers from NSUT(ECE) and iiitd cse and eventually chose iiitd beacuse of its strong academics focus on computer science excellent faculty and modern infrastructure the research culture and the curriculum at iiitd rellay stood out compared to the others. It's more aligned with current industry trends like AL amd ML I didn't get IIIT Hyderabad cse because of my jee main rank didn't ,make to the cutoff the competition is super intense there ,espically for cse and i fell short by a small margin but honestly i don't regret it IIITD offers a comparable level of educarion with a strong coding culture snd great placement records The admission process for IIITD straightforward but slightly different from other institutes .For Btech addmission are primarily through JEE mains via JAC for delhi based students they also take admission frommthe student that come from uceed and they alsi consider class 12 percentile as a part of eligiblity for a few program the cutoff of jee mains goes really high for cs branches and it even more tiugher for outside delhi student...Read More

IIIT-DELHI Best college of Delhi?

I choose this college over dtu, nsit and other delhi colleges as the batch ratio is small which matters a lot during placements season as in our year batch size is 550 approx and dtu computer science and nsut cs alone has more students (approx 600 students) compare to our whole batch size. And in our time placement percentage was 100% and average ctc was 18-19 lpa. For admission here you have to enrolled in jac counseling and admission is based on jee mains score....Read More
