Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Materials Science because it is at the intersection of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths- subjects I really enjoyed since high school. The faculty is highly qualified and there are 40 students in my class. The term exams are quite challenging and measure your logical thinking abilities.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft come to our college for internships. The projects are in a variety of fields like Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Tech and Core. The average stipend is 1 lakh per month.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements after 1st year itself. The highest package was around 16 lakh per month and the average package was around 1 lakh per month. Around 75% of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike substantially increased the fees for the course. I'm not eligible for any scholarship or financial assistance since I don't meet the income criteria. I will apply for jobs at the end of the fourth year but have completed 2 internships.

Campus Life

Rendezvous and Tryst are our fests and they'll be conducted in February and March this year. All kinds of books and journals are available in the library. All classrooms have smart boards. DebSoc, LitClub, and DevClub are some of the websites run for students by students.

Admission

I had to give JEE Mains, followed by JEE Advanced to get into the course. The application form for JEE Mains is floated every year around September. All this information can be found on the NTA website. I don't wish to see any improvement in the admission process.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

My college placement also good and average package is 195000 lakh and highest international package is 1 crore and Indian package is 82lakh and many companies visited my college and my college give 100 Percent scholarship

Placement Experience:

The placements at the college are fine. Most of the students get good placements after completing the course. Also, for the students who are not willing to take placements, there are other career options as well like Higher studies etc.

Honest life at IITD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course so that I can acquire knowledge about textile technology and help my father in his business ( he is an owner of a textile industry).there are 12-15 faculties and a number of students is 90. the faculties are well qualified and experienced. They usually have a PhD in their respective courses.the term exams are held thrice a semester and they are easy to crack

An honest review

Placement Experience:

The students become applicable for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. The biggest package of the college goes up to 2 Crore Rupees and the average package is 12 Lakh rupees. The profile offered includes Software development, Product management, and Data analyst. 90 per cent of students get placed. No plans as yet.

Honest Review for IITD

Placement Experience:

There is on campus placement. You can register on portal of OCS IITD and you can apply to various company, submit resume and give entrance exams and all the shortlisting processs. Average package is around 9-11 LPA and there are many students who get placement outside India and also 1 cr + package.

Intern Season

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are decent 12-XYZ Lpa on average but high workload and pressure especially during the December placement session. The lowest package could be 7-8Llpa, highest - is 4cr. All the top companies, Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, PwC, EY, Consulting & Finance companies, Startups, SDE roles, Tech, and Noncore are decent. but Core placements are not good. Many people opt for noncore placements. Placement -90-93% of those who sit.

Overall I think My college is best.It was full of memories, I'm doing job now and it's because of my college.

Placement Experience:

As i heard from the seniors, the placement are pretty neat . They get good packages. They sure that everyone get placed . But to get that you need pretty decent GPA . And this branch is versatile in the job world , so its good.According to the placement records, around 94-95% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies. In summer breaks also, students are allowed to join social internship in 1st year.

The application process in and of itself was smooth, but I don't really think the eligibility criteria are fit for what they're selecting us for, ie there is a fundamental mismatch in the way the courses are presented to us in the colleges and the way they're presented to us during JEE(the entrance exam). Internships and Oppurtunities

The eligibility for the course is JEE Advanced and cutoff for JEE Advanced is JEE Mains exam. Also, you must have 75% or above in class 12 board examinations. The cutoff for my branch was around 1900 rank. The application form can be found on jeeadv.ac.in and the form costed around 2900 rupees. The first process of process was to qualify for JEE mains. Honest life at IITD

To be eligible for the B Tech programme in IITD you've to qualify for JEE Adv. The cutoff varies from year to year. Seats are allotted on the basis of the ranks secured by the students in jee adv exam. Once the results are out you've to go through the josaa counselling for which you have to pay. Eligibility of the Course 1. JEE Main Qualified 2. JEE Adv Qualified 3. Board 75% marks We can find the application forms, application fees, and application dates on NTA Website and JEE Advance website. Besides that, we can find regular updates from the NTA Twitter handle. The NTA must be replaced by something better, and more productive.
