An honest review

My choice was primarily based on the analysis of the best possible branch I could get at IIT Delhi with my rank, but the decision was supported by the study of reviews from various websites. My branch has a decent faculty: student ratio. It is 1 professor with 80 students. The faculty is highly experienced in their subjects and have a fairly systematic method of teaching.

The students become applicable for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. The biggest package of the college goes up to 2 Crore Rupees and the average package is 12 Lakh rupees. The profile offered includes Software development, Product management, and Data analyst. 90 per cent of students get placed. No plans as yet.

The annual fee is 2,80,000 Rupees, divided into two semesters. It has a detailed metric clearly stating all the expenses. Other than this is the hostel fee which is 60,000 rupees annually. For economically unstable students the college offers various meritorious scholarships and financial assistance.

The annual fest of IIT Delhi is Rendezvous and the tech fest is Trust. The library offers many books and journals covering many topics. Various sports events are held throughout the semester and the campus offers a wide variety of events hosting extracurricular activities. Almost all the groups, clubs, and websites are run by students under the able supervision of professors. Name some are Mridang the music society, Ankahee, the drama society, Ensemble, and the dance society.

The annual hostel fees is 60,000 rupees . The room is pre-equiped with a bed , wardrobe , study table and chair. The meal quality is fairly decent with a healthy diet . The menu is decided via a concesus of students of the hostel. The Registration process is within the admission process after the exam .

Admission at IIT Delhi happens via an Entrance exam conducted by IIT, known as JEE Advanced. The cutoff ranks of various branches are decided on the basis of the scores of all the students. The starting and end cutoff for Industrial and Production Engineering, that is, my branch, were 2218 and 7585 respectively. The application form, dates, and fee details are available on the official site of JEE Advanced, which can be found as the first option of Google Search. There are reservations for various categories after submitting a valid certificate validating the claim.
