Course Curriculum Overview

For multi-branch courses faculty: The student ratio is not good, but in general, just talking about pure numbers, it could be around 1:1. In my branch, it's a better ratio. Well-qualified faculty, all are Ph.D. holders from reputed universities with high research output. Teaching methods are fine, but self-learning is required in higher ratios. Exams are indeed not easy, now the system is 2 minors and a major at the end with tons of quizzes and assignments in between.

Internships Opportunities

SDE, Management roles, Tech roles, Many companies visit IITD for intern season but cgpa out of 7-7.5 is prevalent which may cause troubles if not taken seriously. Companies have some bias toward non-circuital students, So intern season could prove uneasy. Projects are hard to secure among IIT professors.

Placement Experience

Campus Placements are decent 12-XYZ Lpa on average but high workload and pressure especially during the December placement session. The lowest package could be 7-8Llpa, highest - is 4cr. All the top companies, Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, PwC, EY, Consulting & Finance companies, Startups, SDE roles, Tech, and Noncore are decent. but Core placements are not good. Many people opt for noncore placements. Placement -90-93% of those who sit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees would be the same for the whole 4 years, its costly indeed however scholar loans are available from the institute Sbi itself. Scholarships are only applicable based on family income criteria.

Campus Life

The library is amazing, a place to learn and rent books to do assignments. Classrooms are also the best in class Sports & Extracurriculars are also fine, every hostel has some facilities for indoor sports, like a pool. Clubs and competitions. NSO , NSS , BSW , BRCA , BSA are student-run organisations + stellar clubs like EDC , Hyperloop , Axlr8r , ANCC , Dev Club.

Admission

Eligibilty is Jee mains & Advanced( 3.5k->4.6k) rank for my course + >75% in boards class12, Check the josaa cutoff rank and details for this college to understand the updated cutoff. Application to the college is through josaa portal and allotted on the basis of jee Advanced rank.

Honest life at IITD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course so that I can acquire knowledge about textile technology and help my father in his business ( he is an owner of a textile industry).there are 12-15 faculties and a number of students is 90. the faculties are well qualified and experienced. They usually have a PhD in their respective courses.the term exams are held thrice a semester and they are easy to crack

My Life After JEE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after 1st year itself. The highest package was around 16 lakh per month and the average package was around 1 lakh per month. Around 75% of students get placed every year.

An honest review

Placement Experience:

The students become applicable for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. The biggest package of the college goes up to 2 Crore Rupees and the average package is 12 Lakh rupees. The profile offered includes Software development, Product management, and Data analyst. 90 per cent of students get placed. No plans as yet.

Placement Experience:

There is on campus placement. You can register on portal of OCS IITD and you can apply to various company, submit resume and give entrance exams and all the shortlisting processs. Average package is around 9-11 LPA and there are many students who get placement outside India and also 1 cr + package.

Overall I think My college is best.It was full of memories, I'm doing job now and it's because of my college.

Placement Experience:

As i heard from the seniors, the placement are pretty neat . They get good packages. They sure that everyone get placed . But to get that you need pretty decent GPA . And this branch is versatile in the job world , so its good.According to the placement records, around 94-95% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies. In summer breaks also, students are allowed to join social internship in 1st year.

The application process in and of itself was smooth, but I don't really think the eligibility criteria are fit for what they're selecting us for, ie there is a fundamental mismatch in the way the courses are presented to us in the colleges and the way they're presented to us during JEE(the entrance exam). Internships and Oppurtunities

The eligibility for the course is JEE Advanced and cutoff for JEE Advanced is JEE Mains exam. Also, you must have 75% or above in class 12 board examinations. The cutoff for my branch was around 1900 rank. The application form can be found on jeeadv.ac.in and the form costed around 2900 rupees. Honest life at IITD

To be eligible for the B Tech programme in IITD you've to qualify for JEE Adv. The cutoff varies from year to year. Seats are allotted on the basis of the ranks secured by the students in jee adv exam. Once the results are out you've to go through the josaa counselling for which you have to pay.
