Likes
- I really like the facilities here like college bus is there for pick up and drop then we E drive for rental purpose.
- Teachers are strict as well as understanding. Placement rate is high. Hostels are spacious and free of any in time.
- Social life is quite exciting as there are numerous clubs here as well as some societies .
Dislikes
- I really dont like the management of classes and labs as they are not at all flexible.
- Infrastructure is still under development. Campus is not that good looking or attractive.
- Personal development is quite underrated just because of study pressure
Course Curriculum Overview
I really like the way my curriculum preapres me for a ready to go industry or corporate life. As you can see EE branch is the most toughtest as it requires hiogh knowledge along with imaginative efficiency. There are certain areas of improvement as there are lesser smartclasses. And the labs are also short essenttial equipments for 1st year. Timings 9 to 5 are fixed for classes throughout the year. Teaching Methods are also easy to leanr and understand
Placement Experience
From 3 rd year itself students go on attending seminars internships programmes etc. Almost every company in the staes comes for placement drive including L&T and ACCENTRURE. DElloite has been the mass recruiter with klast year highest package as of 17 LPA. upto 95 % placement is there. MY plan is to settle in a multinational company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is Rs 45400 . THe OJEE fees is Rs 10000 AND the rest is admission fees. My cousre is not SSC i.e.self sustained so i dont have to pay other expenses. My batchmates most of them are general. So their fees is the same but had to pay more to college. WE have scholarships like OUTR merit scholarship then we have NSP scholarships like Yashasvi then State scholarships like E-medhabruti
Campus Life
XTASY ENGINEERS CUP PERCEPTION are some the main events . ZAIRZEST is a tech event. ACCESS to E LIBRARY is the most wonderful thing. Sports are really exciting here, FOOTBALL CRICKET are the maiun sports including CHESS KABADDI BASKETBALL. There are energy groups like spectrum muysic clubs like Arpeggio . WE have our own cultural society.
Admission
i did apply for IIiT and VSSUT but could not clear the cut off but i am happy as i accepted this seat in one of the best universities in ODISHA . So as of now the procedure is simple you should clear JEE mains cut off like for GEN 1 lac rank or 3 lac then fore reserved categories upto 5 l;ac then apply for seat councelling in which you will be alloted a seat .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:16. The student faculty relationship is nice and understanding. I really like Biswajit Sir . He is very engaging and inspiring. There are in total 5 exams . 2 midsems. 2 endsems , 1 special exam
Night Life
Cafeteria has nice food . Bread omlette is the best . Then we have Hostels like RHR which has amazing food mess. Then we have Khaogali Jaydev Vatika also food courts nearby . Night luife amazing as we have concerts and its safe .
