- Inside the college no vehicles are allowed to use by the students except bicycle.inside the college there are a lot of trees and greenary it is the thing that I like the most
- There are few more things I like are the clubs and their projects.clg provide funds to all the clubs.
- While coming to faculties nit Rourkela has one of the best teaching faculty.the placements provided by the college is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of every batch changes.for every batch 4 years curriculum is prepared in the beginning of the first semester.in the first sem ee will have labs in the morning and classes in the evening.the classes will be complete by 5:15.and first years have Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday holidays.in the curriculum we electronics department have digital electronics, analog electronics and so on.upto 3 rd semester every one will have mathematics and the syllabus for every department is same.in first year all departments have same subjects.
Internships Opportunities
In nit Rourkela girls are more benifited with placements.there are more than 300 companies offered jobs in our college.the main companies to electronics branch are texas instruments it offers about 35 lpa.second most important company is qualcomm and it offers 28 lpa
Placement Experience
Nit Rourkela stands in top 5 nits in India .coming to placements the circuital branches (computer science, electronics and communication engineering, electronics and instrumentation and electrical engineering)have good placements.while coming to remaining branches civil and food processing have less placements compared to other branches
Fees and Financial Aid
In a nit Rourkela if you are having ews and having having family income is between one lakh to five lakh then fee per semester is 64,000.You can get a lot of scholarships for the ews candidates main scholarship is ffe which gives you 50,000 per year.for the students who are having ews certificate and family income is less than 1 lakh fee per semester is 22000
Campus Life
The part of the engineering college is the fests. In nit Rourkela there are mainly four fests they are 1.innovision- technical fest 2.virridhi- sports fest 3.cosmo- cultural fest 4.nitrutsav And coming to classroom facilities there are two lectures halls .every classroom has 2 air conditioners
Hostel Facilities
A room is alloted to two people.there is a facility that you can select your roommate.in the hostel room you will be given with table and a chair and two charging plugs.And coming to mess the food quality is good by bad in taste.fee for room is 5000 per semester and 20000 for mess
Admission
Nit Rourkela consistently ranks among the top engineering institutes in India. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, it secured the 19th position in the engineering category.to join in nit Rourkela one have to appear in jee main.and after the jee main there will be counselling.in the counciling one have to keep the priority for clg carefully.
Faculty
Nit Rourkela has 1:15 faculty to students ratio.for every department one faculty adviser is appointed.and after every semester we need to give feedback of proffersors of the completed semester.and we need to give review to faculty adviser also.as we know in every college electrical department proffersors are a bit strict the same repeats in your college.
Night Life
In our college there are seven boys hostels and 3 girls hostels.every hostel have A gym and volleyball courts.generally to avoid ragging juniors live in seperate hostel.inside the college my favourite hangout place in golden jubilee road.
