- Things i liked were the affordability of the course then the variance in teaching methodologies.
- My campus life is great . WE have events fests concerts programs seminars etc.
- Placement is quite effective like more than 95% as it is the leading University in the state. The curriculum is quite industry ready and beneficial in day to day life.
Dislikes
- Things which i don't like are the frequency of assignments quiz projects presentations etc. Journals are quite a copy paste thing.
- The classes are held in fix corporate timing 9 to 5 . Mentorship and GUidance is not that much effective engaging or involving.
- My social interactions are quite lesser in the campus as people mostly busy in their own like studies or sports and i am kind of average
Course Curriculum Overview
My curriculum is quite an old and ready to go for industry. I was mentally ready to accept this seat in the course. Real world has multiple applications in this branch as its acorelevel stream , there are multiple areas of improvement . LIke the smart classrooms should be there for morecprojectional vciew of motors belt drives etc. The FRequency of asubject is approx 3 times a week.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year itself students start preapring for placemts on campus, seminars occur in more number in order to prepare studentrs for the internships in 4th year. L&T and Accenturec are the leading companies which are out main recruiters. Nowadays Delloite is picking more placements. Last year the highest package was abput 18.5 LPA. almost mlore than 70 % students get placed . After getting the degree my aim is to set in a multinational copmpany for ateleast 5 years of experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees i paid was Rs 40400 out of which Rs10000 was the seat acceptance fees and rest was the admission registration fees. My friends had to pay little bit more as they had no reservation i.e. RS 45400 in total. THere are numerous scholarships like post matric and state scholarship or Yashasvi from NSP also there is OUTR merit scholarship as well
Campus Life
XTASY ZAIRZEST ENGINEERS CUP are the most important events here. Again PERCEPTION is amian con cert here. WE have musical Bands like DAANAV . We have dance groups. OUTR has the best lineups in sports like KHO KHO Basketball Football CRICKET. WE have energy clubs like SYNERGY SPECTRUM etc
Admission
I chose this college beacuse of its location as it was inside town . IT beacme an easy access to each and everything neccessities especially. NO i was not rejected rather i chose this seat overVSSUT BURLA just my personal preference. First i appeared in JEE mains then i applied for OJEE councelling then i accepted this seat after clearing the cutoff of my category
Faculty
THe Faculty to student ratio is 1:16. The relationship between students and teachers is quite friendly and understanding. Abhishek Srangi is one of my favorite faculty of the branch. He's very cooperative . I don't like Biswajit Sir a lot due to his dpominiant and superior complex. There are 5v exams in ayear . 2 midsems 2 endsems 1 special exam
Night Life
NO gyms are there. Cafeteria has one or the other stalls . Restaurants and canteens are there. THe famous thing to eat is bread omlette . Hostels are nice as well, APJ hostel has best rooms RHR has nice food, NOIGHT life is solid and entertaining. We have flood lights for FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL, some te hangout places are JAYDEV Vatika then OUTR HILL Khandagiri GHatikia food court Khaogali etc.
