faculty- the faculty at nit is notably committed to delivering quality edcation. their adherence to structured routies ensure that classes are conducted systematically, fostering a condctive learing environment.
stuctured curriculum- the institue follows a well organized curriculum reminiscent of school like decipline, dress code. this structure aids in maintaining academic rigor and consistency
no regging system in college senior are supportive and friendly.

Dislikes

Infrastructure- No AC in class despite the fees charged, the absence of AC in UG college at weather like kolkata is big cost cutting and not good.
library ammunition- lack of sufficient power sockets in library hampers students ability to study effectively.
college fest- Not upto marks lack the vibrancy and scale that one might expect from engineering college.

college follow standered sturucture as suggested to follow for engineering courses but some development for students time to time college conducted seminors to teaching students current market situation.and events also to motivate the stuets with come of the industry ready

Placement Experience

nit kolkata has a solid trtack record in campus placement, particularly for students in it and cse streams . Average placement package of INR 5 LPA and reached highest INR 27 LPA over all 70-80 percent students placed.mass recruiters like tcs, wipro, accenture visited coleege campus and hired good amounts of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. year wise fee structure- the fee structure for my college tuition fees are higher with the west bengal education department capping annual tution fees at INR1.10 lakh. additionally these colleges can change development fees up to 15% of the tution fees. my college total fees for my b.tech cse course for 2023-27 is 600000.library fees ine time 6000.

Campus Life

this is the main pain parts of this college social life, club involvements are bad in this college no proper fest at college level mass some of the evets happens like tech fest . and club not looking so active and intrest to add new members they seclects members dont know how .

Admission

proximity to hometown- nit located in kolkata and i am from bihar so easy to travel college to home main region is this also the rank i get in wbjee from that rank i getting allotment of this college. Active Social media presence- nit maintains an active presence on various social media platform regularly updates about academic events, workshops,seminars and students achievements

Faculty

the faculty at nit is notably committed to delivering quality education. good at teaching and follow the routine systems . i doing btech in cse in my college all btech core and all derivatives of cse course also present and in exam for sem 70 marks papers and 30 internal based on slot test and presence of class

Interview Experience

no not any gd and written . take admission through wbjee rank i i got in exam . i fill the choice of college on the basis of marks i got admission in this college. not any specific written test conducted by the college

Night Life

night life not present in this college college close at 6 pm . as far as i study one events happens in college that last 8pm except that no night life . best place to hangout is pond side and cafeteria.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. Placement was average if you have good background knowledge so you will definitely get placed. After 7th semester companies started coming and also there is different criteria for all companies like some company required more than 8 CGPA that completely dependent on company preferences. Avg package is 10 lpa like . Jft and pst branch has full 100% placement. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in top notch mnc & work as SDE.

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . It is also affiliated with makaut university unlike the other colleges . The placement is 65%. The eligibility is not that hard to achieve. Minimum 75% in class 12 is enough.
