Likes

Faculty is very good. They teach us in good manner
Scholarships schemes are very good. Low income people can afford to study in this university
Canteen is also good and it is affordable

Dislikes

Campus is not good. In free period we used to walk here and there.
Most of the Students here are not good. In this university fighting is very common.

Course Curriculum Overview

After every one and half months exam starts. Electrical exam is very difficult and other are medium. Teaching is good in this university and faculty is also good. But the worst part is the campus is not really good.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 5200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 2600 rs per semester of 6 months. The admission fees is of 1100 rs. I get 95% scholarship because of sc category. Others batchmates those who are general category pay 35000 rs per semester. There are so many scholarships like category scholarships, income scholarships etc.

Campus Life

My overall experience is not good. I stay alone whole of my college days. Teaching and faculty is good. But the students here are not good. The infrastructure here is also not good. The campus is very small. In free period there is no place where students can sit and enjoy

Admission

I choose this college because of my parents. I didn't want to come to this college. The campus is not good but the teaching and faculty is very good. In this university, sports and games are not done properly. This university didn't take students to any tournaments.

Faculty

Faculties are very good. They all talk in good manner with students. That support us. B Tech mechanical engineering faculties is very good. That support all the students in study and other activities. It is the best faculties. Exams are moderate. Many students fail to clear the exam

Night Life

Gym is not good in this university, but library is good. Hostel is not safe because Students here are most likely to fight with each other's. There is no hangout place inside and outside the University. The campus is not good. Locality is not safe to roam around at night.

Growth and Ground reality : five year at HPNLU

Placement Experience:

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Everything is available on Bahra University official website in which you can see the courses and fees structure. Admission form also available on website of bahra University. You can apply on the base of JEE, CUET, BUCET Entrance Test . I chose this college mainly because it offered comfirmed admission, i had also applied to a few other colleges but the fees were too high , making them less feasible. The overall experience of the bahra university is moderate
