Remarks

All mentioned above. Since a great amalgamation of study and fun, the campus is surround with beauty all over and around. Opportunities are many if interested and looked for and has almost everything one could ask for. Not very cost efficient though. No voice of students so one has to face everything and eventually learns conning too

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is good and definitely better than other colleges. Reputation is excellent and matters a lot but as far as career points are concerned, Not very good for those restricting to Graduation only.

Internships Opportunities

We generally get non paid trainings at industries. College provide only a few but majority goes on their own by contacting the HR. The training are done generally at himachal and Sikkim and are of 21 days. No Stipend as such. No fooding and lodgings provided.

Placement Experience

2.5

Ample of Marketing jobs for UG. Research based and for a good career boost up, one should be a PG student. Money making is nice in marketing too, but the job profile us not very go to friendly. Some really nice companies visit the campus but the packages offered are not up to the mark esp when u consider the amount of money invested and what u have got in return.

College Events

4.5

The list goes long in case of extra activities happening there. As mentioned there are 19 cultural and technical clubs holding places there, each club has to organise 2-3 events in a year which equals to around 30-40 events happening. So there are always a gala time happening around in the campus for the student and by the students. Most important thing lie here is that there is no loss of classes and studies there and every celebrations are done either during weekends or in the evenings. DJ night and open dance are on a frequent basis. All in all a perfect amalgamation of studies and fun. The BITOTSAV which is our culture fest organised by final year students during Feb-Mar which is an amazing time for the entire college. The 4 nights are filled with celebrities, celebrations and fun. Night events are something we wait for an entire year. Live cincerts and all are amazing there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As mentioned many a times, It is comparatively quite expensive as compared to what u get in return after placements. BIT is full of money business be it any department. But as compared to other colleges, Hostel and Mess fees are less and quality of thr food is nice.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholar students are offered a GP Birla scholarship which includes reduction of tuition fees. Then Jharkhand bases reserved category students are given some govt scholarships too. No other scholarships as such are present into my knowledge.

Campus Life

4

Enrollment into different clubs keeps u extremely busy that u will feel that 24 hrs are less to complete all of it. A flourished sports complex is there with almost anything and everything right from basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, throwballs, etc. A whole new building of indoor games are present there. There are a total of 14 hostel each with its own independent playground.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

7/10. There are a total of 14 hostel to be specific where 2 for girls and 12 for boys. It is a completely residential campus with all facilities and students residing inside the campus only. Since campus and all are really amazing, infrastructure is also nice but all of them are old so no cupboards. Iron gates, Iron beds, Iron Tables. The finishing is not very nice. But frankly speaking we fell in love with all of that. Campus is extremely beautiful.

Alumni/Alumna

An all together different cell is present known as Students Alumni Relationship Cell which carries a strong connect with some very old and senior alumnis. Alumni meets are held at regular intervals. Students has some good connections with the alumni and they are helpful too.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was the one thing I really liked there. Very timely held, portions and syllabus quite clear, no haphazard-ness and generally comes from what only students are taught. The schedules are very nice and ends in no time. The patterns are user friendly. But according to the new rule since 2k18, if a student fails in more than 2 subjects, he won't get promoted which was not applicable earlier. The fees for re appearing in back papers are a bit high.

Admission

In B. Pharm, its a 50-50 division of both JEE students and NEET students. Total no of seats are around 50-60. Agar there is 50% domicile reservation in both the criterias along with the generalised reservation policies for SC, ST and OBCs. So basically u should have a score card of either NEET or JEE. College release a form during May for fresh batches which should be filled and sent by post. Then shortlisted candidates are called for the counselling. Note that they call you with all the DDs ready but it is not mandatory that they will admit all of the shortlisted candidates. Basis of selection from the shortlisted candidates is not yet cleared.

Faculty

3

Most of them are Ex- BITians, highly qualified and researchers. They havr some nice collaboration with international forums as well and one who is into research and all can get some good experienced teachers and equipments too to guide and perform. Marking systems are a bit weird though and we are adjusted to it.
