Remarks

Saint Xaviers Ranchi being a government college is also autonomous and the only negative thing about the college is it works as a government office you have to run for job to be done. Otherwise the college is great and the best in the state of Jharkhand.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have studied BCom from Saint Xaviers College in accounts honours. It has the best facilities as in infrastructure faculty. We need to study accounts business law taxation maths statistics Auditing financial management cost accounting.

Internships Opportunities

No the colleges not provide any internship in the BCom accounts honours but in the other departments internship is there like in the BBA department; geography honours etc. So I don't have any experience of internship.

Placement Experience

3

There are not many good placement facilities at the college. Though companies like TCS wipro godrej come for placements. I had got selected for the tcs job at campus placement. So, anybody can try at campus placement s.

College Events

4

We had cultural festival every year for 3 days. We had annual sports meet every alternate year. And there were many e different programs held throughout the years in the various departments of college but the main was the cultural fest we also have orientation and graduation ceremony.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college is very feasible the yearly fees is around 15 to 20000 for Bcom and it is different for the different departments but it is not very expensive for the state of Jharkhand so anybody can afford that. they also have stipend for SC and ST

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many different scholarships available in the college for minorities for SC and ST and students also given gold medals and silver medals. fees being less there is no need of taking loan. Students are provided stipen in their bank account.

Campus Life

4.5

There are very good chemistry and Biology lab we also have a Geography lab there are many different computer science lab we have a well infrastructure gym facilities for both boys and girls we have a clinic and 4 canteens.

Hostel Facilities

3

The college only has hostels for boys and there are no hostel facilities for girls and I being a girl has no idea about the boys hostel but there are private hostels available around the college so student need not take stress about hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of Saint Xaviers is very old and prestigious it's not only join us to this college but it is Xavier throughout the world. The professionals who are teaching in the college also alumni of the college. And students are cross different parts of the country and world.

Exam Structure

We had mid semesters and end semester. Mid semesters in the month of March in September and and semesters in the month of May and December. Mid semester were of 30 marks and the end semesters of hundred marks.

Admission

I had applied for the college online. Giving my schooling details and ICSE and ISC marks. Then I went on for giving my entrance test. The results were announced within a week and I had my name in the first list.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculties are well qualified. We can visit the HOD in any hour of need. Most of the professor and the assistant professors are from St Xavier college only. Professor always available for the students who are interested in studies.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.
