Remarks
Overall I would like to say that the College is very good and helps you to grow if you you want grow in any means be it Academic’s, sports, any area of interest. Negative remark college should improve on the facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum in general is very good. It was affiliated with the VTU university but now it has become Autonomous. They generally follow the course curriculum of the University with some changes here and there.
Internships Opportunities
No, it does not provide scholarships. But, if your teachers know you well and you are one of the good students in the college or the class the teachers might guide you in getting internships. Also in 3 rd year you have option of doing either internship or mini project.
Placement Experience
The average package will be around 4-5 lakhs per annum. Mostly the companies that hire are mass recruiters like TCS and Accenture and Infosys. The average Placement is around 70% of the students are placed.
College Events
We have hostel events in which we celebrate the new students entering the college in each year.it is called freshers day. It is organised by the seniors in each year. We play many games like cricket , football.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for sports quota is 3 lakh per year. For management quota it’s 5 lakhs per year. For comedk quota it is 3.5 lakhs per year. And that is the only academic fees. Rest all the expenses are separate. It’s expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is this bank in our college campus called Allahabad bank. We do all the transactions from This account that is all the fees payment, any other to be paid to the college. We can take loan from Allahabad bank.
Campus Life
They give us practical examples by letting us use the lab, there are many sports events like cricket, football, badminton,etc. we have many labs like casting lab, machine lab, computer lab,physics and chemistry lab.
Hostel Facilities
I would rate the hostel infrastructure and facilities as good. On a scale of 10 I would rate it as 7. It’s because the infrastructure is good and they facilities that they offer is very minimum and not usable.
Alumni/Alumna
Each year they invite there alumni to the college to address the new students. In this way the students can share there view of there college and help the students in a way so that they don’t make the mistakes they had done.
Exam Structure
It follows the exam structure of the VTU university which Keeps 1 internal exam in each month. That is they have 3 internal exams and one main exam called semester end exam in each semester. The internal and external exams have linked up marks.
Admission
After my 12 board exams, I gave Comedk Entrance Exam. I got a decent rank and on that basis I got selected in this college. But, I had to pay the fees immediately if I had to take the hostel facility.
Faculty
Highly educated and knowledgeable faculties with some of them coming from IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras. If you go to them with doubts they will try to clear most of them on the spot. But,if they don’t they will come back to you.
