Course Curriculum Overview

4

I myself have desire to go in either designing or robotics field and that's the reason I chose the mechanical branch. This is my first year so we have all the subjects of different branch. One subject I liked is communication skills lab .It is very helpful for the stage daring and to overcome the fear to talk. Also we studied the Computer science class in 1st semister and I think it is really very helpful in our future ,either in designing or robotics.Chemistry was useless.and in the workshop we made a table by our own in groups by doing all the shops. And by this we came to know about the mechanical field more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is Rs. 1,35,450 in which tuition fee is Rs. 1,25,000, Exam fee is Rs. 1,000, Registration fee is Rs. 500, Library fee is Rs. 750, Student activity fee is Rs. 1250, Sports fee is Rs. 2,500 Internet fee is Rs. 750, T&P fee is Rs. 400, and Development fee is Rs. 3,000.

Campus Life

4

I think our campus is the better than any other college if talking about the greenery. Infrastructure is also very nice and attractive. There are too many clubs for example Hallabll for acting ,octaves for singing, Iridescene for artwork,911 for hiphop, bollywood dance club, technical club IV labs ,velocity, ashlesha astronomy club and many more.I am in the Iridescene art club and tring for IV labs and ashlesha astronomy club which are eligible from next year.Joing the club improves our self confidence, communication skills and personality.

Admission

Firstly taking about the reason that this college is in my list was that it is NIT and it's NIRF ranking.Second thing placement for this college was seen to be good .Third the campus is really nice. And last it is in my own state.Coming to the admission process, firstly we should qualify JEE mains with good percentile as this is one of the best college in our country. Then the alloment of college was through JOSSA counciling. And later the physical verification in the colledge and submission and verification of the documents by the student .

Faculty

The professors I got in the 1st semister were too bad specially for electrical and chemistry Avisha maam and Gayatri maam and also in in this sem physics..they only teach us from the ppt and go on reading fastly and no one is able to understand what's going on in the class. Also there are good proff like Tushar goyel sir ,vishnu sir and deepak patel sir they are really the best proffs and rheir teaching methods are also very good and proper.Student mentors are really very good and supportive and provude all the notes and study material and guide us.Now coming to exam structure we have 5 theory subject and 4 labs .we have midsems for 30 marks and end sems for 50 marks.20 marks are for assignments and quizz. For labs also the quizz is conducted and marks are for performance during practical and written tests.I think it's difficult here to score 8+ pointer in chemistry stream but currently I'm in the physics stream and trying to score a good pointer.

Night Life

4

We can't actually roam at night due to intime of hostel which is 9pm.but before 9 the place near statue ,and library looks to good at night due to the fountains and lightings. Also the area outside the sports complex is full of students hanging out.

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
