Course Curriculum Overview

the course was changed last year and now includes most of the new technologies being used in the industry I choose IT as I already had interest in writing code since I was 16 . I would suggest if there was only one mid sem and a end sem exam

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft and Sap labs hire a lot of students this year bny also hired a lot some other companies also visit the campus in ondrive internship goldman sachs , de shaw came though it took only one guy from IT

Placement Experience

Placements are great . most of the students get placed in cs/it , I don't have idea about the placement in core branches around 94 % gets placed in IT my plan is to go back home and run a business and live peacefully away from the hectic life of the city

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 100,000 college fees and 1,00,000 hostel and mess fee. for students having annual income below 1 lakh are given scholarships by GOI , no tuition fees for them there are also other alumni scholarships for sc/st (reserved) students based on merit

Campus Life

confluence is the cultural fest , techspardha is the tech fest in winters , we also have sports fest citius utkarsh is also a cultural fest celebrated in nit kkr we have a lush green campus and almost all sports have great facilities

Hostel Facilities

the meal provided depends on the hostel u are in for the past two years the hostel I was in had good food quality , just the rotis are bad. in first year u get triple or double seated room and most of the students get single room second year onwards

Admission

I choose this college because of its NIRF ranking , I asked few people who work as sde and data scientist to guide me in jossa counselling and they asked to choose nit kkr above other options I had back then.

Faculty

the facult to student ratio is great, some professors might be harsh but they teach very well and have a lot of knowledge best faculties for me :JK Chabra sir , Shweta Sharma mam , there are two midsems and one end sem exam

Night Life

there is almost no night life nearby the campus , but you can go to delhi or karnal or Chandigarh to have fun in night outs hostel and campus timings are strict for girls 7:30 pm is the entry time for girls for boys there is no hostel timings but u can't enter college after a restricted time

I don't know about placement because my batch is the second batch of btech course but the hod have assured that they will bring companies. In 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package you could expect is 300000.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunity in my college are quite good and student usually become eligible for the campus placement for 16 and seven semester, depending on the course number of recruitment, companies of the IT finance, consulting and the core industry, visit the campus, each year, student companies in for TCS et cetera, et cetera, the highest package offer is the quite impressive and average package a decent and the comparative compare to the other college and the region. Placement Experience:

The thing about my course placement is that my batch is second batch so no batch have been passed out and placed in btech but the dean have assured us about the placement as they have bought companies for others courses so they will surely bring for btech also that's what they said. The companies will mostly nearby to dpg degree college. And the average package will maybe 3 lakh per annum.

Our college is the best option if you can't get good IITs or NITs and the research culture is excellent.

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance. The admission process is through josaa counseling the eligibility criteria is that you have qualify jee mains the cutoff rank is vary according to your category.
