Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion college curriculum is very boring. They often provide little time to cover the entire syllabus and we have to improve our skills too in these limited time. Syllabus is exam oriented not practically applied. Curriculum should be improved.
Placement Experience
My college a very well placement history. Many companies like USTGLOBAL, IBM, IBS, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, Tata etc.. Are visited and more than 75% of students got placed in any of these companies. 35 lakh per annum to 6 lakh per annum package were gotten by my seniors. They have high CGPA and technological skills. My plan after btech is to find a job in technological field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee i paid when I'm joined the college is 61 thousand. But the official site shows the fees structure as 45000 but in previous year it is 35000.it's may be beacuse of the high placement and improvement of college. Alumine association in our college provide scholarship for the students who are economically backward and have well marks in their college level internal exams.Sc /st students should pay low f ees.. They have consideration in fees
Campus Life
In my whole experience my college has limited clg life.But our technical fest named prayagg was a mesmerizingg event. There are too many clubs and people who are enganged in those club activities have college life also. The people who only come to study have less colleges experiences.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is really good. Good meals and non veg food twice or thrice in a week.. Feedback in every month can be submitted. Menu of the meals are determined by the students its self(mess committee)there are too many pgs and hostel near the campus
Admission
I choosed my college because my college offer high placement and it makes my future safer.. High pass percentage,, top college in kerala and the main thing is my college is the one and only engineering women's college in kerala.. To get addmission in my college should be keam rank of minium 15 k required,, 15 k is for reserved peoples.
Faculty
There are 65 student's in my class.. One faculty teaches one whole subject and lab sessions are taken by other facilities. Good teaching and good relationship with the students.. I liked my mathematics miss. because she cared each of us like her own child.. She actually a mother for us. There are two internal exam within 4 months. CE marks are assigned by the average of these two internal exams, attendance, lab marks etc. AND a final sem exam is there.. As a professional course there should be a little harder questions, but for hardworking student can easily pass the exams
Night Life
We have the freedom to visit anywhere Cafeterias, beach, public area etc.. But we have no permission to visit those places in night.Hostel will close on 7pm and open on 6 Am. No such visiting between 7pm and 6 am are allowed the place is not safe for night journey
